Record says our plan is to sell Acuna and Palhinha to reinvest in the squad. Palhinha would probably be a good player as he did grow at Braga, but if we do get a good bid I wouldn't mind selling as there are better players. Acuna has good spirit but with Nuno Mendes being really good at LB so far and his tendency to get into trouble a lot, I don't mind seeing him go.
Apparently Antunes, portuguese left back playing in Spain, is on his way to join us. Just googled, he's 33 and played 3 matches in the 19/20 season. Might as well just get Coentrao instead
Antunes has been a solid player for a long time but he’s one of those players who were overlooked because he never played for a “ big 3 “ “ (Including sporting ) squad. He is getting old but you need experience on your team as well, although I always champion the youth movement. Selling Acuña would be a great move. That guy is terrible. You should hold onto palhinha though, unless an offer to good to be true comes in.
