27 yr old holding midfielder, Hendry Cordoba, of relegated C.D. Platense has agreed to terms with C.D. Olimpia and will sign a 3 year contract with Los Albos.
While in San Pedro Sula... Atletico Choloma rightback, Will Barahona, will be signing with Real Espana on a 2 year deal. He becomes Real Espana's 3rd signing prior to the Transfer window, along with forward Kervin Jhonson of Deportes Savio and midfielder Victor Mena of C.D. Victoria.
Jocimar Nascimento returns to C.D. Motagua on a 1 year deal, while Motagua also resign Carlos "El Chino" Discua to a 3 year deal.
Real Espana make their 4th signing in Atletico Choloma's forward, Franco Guity. He joins teammate At Choloma and Olimpia, Wilfredo Barahona, Savio striker Kervin Jhonson, and experienced volante, Victor Mena from C.D. Victoria. Allan Lalin and Jhonny Calderon get their contracts extended for 6 more months with the club. Chelato Ucles also made it clear that he will have the same goalie rotation of Macias and Hernandez. Real Espana's pre-season kicks-off June 11th/18th.
FINALLY!!!! YESSSS GOD YES!!!!!! Pepe Trevino has made some conditions to C.D. Motagua in order to ensure his continuity at the club: Take Bengtson with you aswell... We're paying these players some of the highest wages in La Liga Nacional Hondurena only for them to play like sh*t (Im being too kind). Good riddance and don't comeback. I hope El Lobo retires with some dignity.. Sergio Mendoza I never really cared about him.. he was always basura.. I feel bad for Georgie and Rambo but I'm sure another club will be happy to sign them to big wages in Honduras.
The transfer deal of Abner Mendez to Motagua has apparently fallen through.. http://www.latribunadeportiva.hn/2012/05/11/motagua-descarta-a-abner-mendez/
-sigh- FINALLLYYY C.D. Motagua have announced the signing of rightwinger, Abner Mendez, of C.D.S. Vida:
Real Espana on the verge of making their fifth signing in volante, Marvin Sanchez, from Atletico Choloma:

Ya vibre pulso de la primer vuelta de La Gran Final Hondurena en San Pedro Sula: C.D. Marathon vs. C.D. Olimpia: 6:30 Honduran time, desde El Estadio Olimpico
Halftime: C.D. Marathon 0-0 C.D. Olimpia tight game, started out sloppy.. Olimpia tried to suffocate Marathon's passing from the back, which in-turns causes mistakes and more turnovers closer to the Marathon area, but when Marathon were able to establish their possessive game/strategy past midfield.. they'd really put it on Olimpia passing from wing to wing and waiting for an opening or a good cross to try and score. Jerry Palacios and Alexander Aguilar with scoring chances in the area.. Olimpia with some long range chances, mostly in-part to Oscar Boniek. A Good game thus far, I expect more of the same in the second, probably expect more attacking and overlapping from Sabillon and El Zancudo.
Fulltime: C.D. Marathon 0-0 C.D. Olimpia Marathon was the much better team.. Marathon had about 4-5 chances to win the game in the 2nd half.. Olimpia really looked like a shell of their regular season selves, defending most of the game and not really holding on to possession when they did get to the final third or prior to it. Olimpia leaves lucky.
30 minutes until the kick off of the Final Leg of La Gran Final Hondurena. Desde El Estadio Nacional. C.D. Marathon (0) - (0) C.D. Olimpia
There's roughly 30,000 fans at the stadium right now.. its looks like a Honduran World Cup Qualifier right now. Full of energy, A complete white out. La Ultra Fiel have come out very strong this afternoon in support of the home team Olimpia. Los Albos will definitely make themselves felt. Maynor Figueroa, David Suazo, Hendry Thomas, and Wilson Palacios all in attendance in El Nacional. All of them have played for Olimpia before leaving for Europe. You can feel it in the air. Nerves are being shook. I'm anxious to see how each team comes out.

Wow... 31 minutes into the first-half and Olimpia have already wasted 3 clear chances. Douglas Caetano dove on 1v1 opportunity instead of slamming it home. Juan Carlos Garcia slipped on put back from a free-kick parried away from Marathon's GK, Shane Orio. And Reynaldo Tilguath just got his penalty kick blocked... Marathon have had nothing of note so far.
OLIMPIA finally draw first blood. A long ball sent from Fabio Souza from the second-half kick-off finds a flying Douglas Caetano down the right hand side. He runs into the box and beams it low far post past Marathon goalie, Shane Orio!! C.D. Olimpia (1) 1-0 (0) C.D. Marathon
