Damn, America winning it all really was a blow to your ego and knocked down your arrogance a few notches.

Yeah, but he's still a huge diva. Anyway, I'm just messing with you for that statement.

Someone could make the same argument for other sports. I love boxing but it’s immensely flawed and anyone can see that. Might be a fun sport to be a fan of for now if you’re Mexican and nationalistic but overall the state of professional boxing has as many if not more blemishes than football. Mexico will always have world champions but that’s kind of coincidental considering there’s zero incentive to stay in the amateur system, not to mention that as soon as boxers from the ex Soviet countries feel more incentivized to turn pro, the sport at the pro level will be run by the US and the ex soviets.

Floyd came from a boxing family. Both his uncles and his dad, while they weren’t elite, were damn good boxers. Roger was a world champion. He did grow up in poverty and some crime but he was tailor made to box.

    No.

    Saludos.

You have a strange and really superficial way of viewing the sport but we have an active boxing thread if you’ve given up on football. [emoji106]
