My favourite part is Porto comes out in these games with the specific intention of being dickheads and bullies, only for Gyo to dismantle and bully all of them fairly easily

That disallowed goal for Gyokeres was so ridiculous. Glad the squad overcame that nonsense and got all 3 points.

The "referee experts" on Portuguese sports shows debating if it's a foul, and some actually think it was a clear foul.

With AFCON coming, were losing Diomande, St. juste is injured and Coates is struggling for fitness. Hopefully Edu keeps this form going, we need CBs

Rumours of Chelsea scouts watching Gyokeres and/or Diomande.

Wouldn’t want to lose either of them but seeing how much they spent on largely rubbish players this summer at least we know they’d pay what we ask!

Don’t think we can sell in January. Winning the league is too important to this club. Summer is a whole different story of course, think he is likely gone when the season is over.

Sell Gyo or Hjulmand in January and you're basically confirming your death sentence.

It's a situation where the Gyokeres' best interest mimics the club. He's only been here half a season and there's no reason he won't dominate the second half, a full summer gives his agent a longer period to build up a bidding war (contract wise), he should KNOW he's got his stepping stone ready. We're a great shop window for him to hang round for.

Hope the club have a good chat with him and he and his agent have a sense about them (though the fact he came here from the Championship makes it seem they do)

Obviously demand the release clause for either one, and I mean pay all the cash up front.

But these are just rumours (who isn't Chelsea linked to?). I think depending how we finish there could be a summer raid though, and Man United has fresh money from the Jim Ratcliffe deal and will likely splash in the summer too, watch out for them.

Apparently we picked up a young prospect CB from Leixões for relatively cheap and he's supposed to be a potential Inacio replacement - left footed, comfortable bringing the ball out the back, good passing range. I think the club is preparing for Inacio to leave.

Completely agree we can’t sell either of them if we want to seriously mount a title challenge. But if anyone were to stump up the cash/ pay over the odds it’s Chelsea.

With Nkunku returning from injury though I don’t think they’ll be looking to make a move at the minute. More likely to save Pocchetino before making any more big signings in my opinion

The problem is there isn’t a ton of great strikers in the prem right now. I feel like arsenal would be the best fit for him and Chelsea would just eat him up and spit him out. Either way, he said he’s not leaving in jan.

Think the bigger issue is Manchester United looking at Amorim to replace Ten Hag in the summer now Ineos have taken over the clubs sporting matters

Sooner or later he'll make the step up, it's inevitable.

Amorim seems like a pretty smart guy. United seems like a pretty dumb move.

Sounds like we’re on our way to becoming a Chelsea b team.

This starting 11 vs Portimonense seems way too attack minded. Amorim's insistence on having a thin squad is going to haunt him.

Man what does Quaresma have to do to start over the absolute trash that is Neto.

Already know how the subs are gonna go too. Trincao, Braganca, and Esgaio. All there is. Rest are just bench fodder.

Nailed it. Subs are absolutely going to be Trincao, Braganca and Esgaio. And Esgaio will all but ensure we leave here without 3 points.

Seriously though, how do you start Quaresma vs Porto and then bench him for this corpse the next game. Makes zero sense.

Especially after publicly criticising him for not being able to do it two games in a row. How are you gonna say that and then not reward the best performance from a cb this season?

What an absolute beauty by Pote. Did not think that pass would get through.

Paulinho has to be the worst player on the field. Hands down, shambolic performance.
