Didn't see a thread for this bad boy. Pretty solid start so far for Leeds, though they were lucky not to give up a penalty. Lichaj has his work cut out for him with Chris Eagles today though.

This is the best stream I have found for the game. It is also on FSC Plus if you have that.

Jensen just made a fantastic save off of Billy Paynter. Header was going for the lower corner and the Burnley keeper somehow gets over to push it around for a corner (which came to nothing).

    ROSS McCORMACK!!!!

Fantastic throughball played from just inside the Burnley half. McCormack takes the ball well, and slots past the keeper. His first goal for Leeds.

    Leeds 1-0 Burnley 33rd minute.

Lichaj hasn't been involved very much as the midfield has been shutting down Burnley quite well and most action has been in the attacking end.

    41st min, Leeds 1-0 Burnley

    Halftime: Leeds 1-0 Burnley.

Leeds definitely the better side, though Burnley have been dangerous at times. It can also be argued that Burnley deserved a penalty.

Without some great goalkeeping, this game could be 2-0 or 3-0 at the moment. Lets hope that we see more of the same in the second half. Leeds are currently outside the playoff places and need this win and some help from the afternoon games.

Burnley do get a chance from about 28 yards out off of a free kick. Over the wall and directly at Kasper from Eagles.

In the first 7 minutes of the half, Burnley have had the better of the attacking moves.

I don't even know who I'm talking to on this thread. I don't even think anyone is reading it.

Double chance from Paynter. First is a free header from 8 yards that is right at the keeper. His next was a matter of seconds later, when he took a heavy touch around the keeper on a throughball that he was not able to slot in from a very acute angle.

    55' Leeds 1-0 Burnley

Rodriguez goes into the book for Burnley after a needless late tackle in their offensive end. first booking of the game.

Lichaj gets a yellow card for pushing one of the Burnley players after the Burnley player has a high boot to Gradel.

Leeds are getting a lot of chances but can't score.

He was going after a Burnley player who went studs up into Gradel's back. He looked pissed off.

Yeah he looked really mad but it was a terrible challenge, very close to Gradel's face.

In a real headscratcher.... McCann lucky to not get sent off for Burnley after a studs up kick into Max Gradel's back. A scrum with some pushing happens after the "tackle". The result is this...

Yellows for McCann for the kick in the back, and yellows for Lichaj and Kilkenny for the pushing after the foul.

While typing that, Burnley keeper makes another superb save to keep the score at 1-0.

    63rd min 1-0 still.

Leeds need to convert one or two of these chances. Burnley don't look very threatening but you never know with it only being 1-0.

and after a foul by Eagles, the leeds fans remind him where he is from with a round of "sh*t scum bastard."

from the skysport.com running commentary on the Gradel incident in real time: It's all kicking off now and there has to be a red card as Gradel is hit with a high boot! The players confront one another and there is a mass brawl on the pitch.

Leeds with another great chance. Howson with a great bursting run into the box has his angled shot saved, but Gradel is only able to drag the shot on the rebound wide of goal.

Gradel being a real pest on the left side of midfield. Wins a corner (which comes to nothing) and now gets taken down by his defender after putting a skills clinic on.

Leeds put 5 in the box for the free kick, which the keeper saves before it is cleared.

Gradel plays McCormack though again, but under pressure, he flubs his shot weakly wide of the goal. Great through ball, and good defense to put him enough off of his shot.

Burnley pusing for the equalizer get two corners within a minute. both come to nothing.

Leeds know that a 1-0 lead isn't safe and are really pushing for another goal to kill this off.

Leeds sub: Watt on, Gradel off. Gradel put in a great shift today.

Burnley have a free kick about 30 yards out after Naylor takes down a burnley attacker. Shot is REALLY well struck, but Kasper makes a jumping save to tip to ball over the bar. shot was headed to the top corner.

Leeds counter right away with Watt blasting over the bar from just over 20 yards out.

90 minutes played. There will be 5 minutes injury time.
