No more excuses for staying around anymore...

With some disappointed Americans threatening to leave the country rather than live four more years under President Bush, one organization is offering to give them a way out.

www.HelpThemLeave.com offers free one-way transportation for disgruntled citizens, in return for "irrevocable renunciation of your U.S. citizenship and a sworn statement that you will never return."

The group will even match destinations to political preferences — leftists are offered a choice of France or Germany; socialists can choose between Canada and Denmark, and communists can pick Cuba or North Korea.

Ah, crap. I thought this was a thread about how I could redeem my frequent flier miles with no blackout dates.

USAsoccer, shouldn't you be busy saving us from the smut that is an uncensored version of Saving Private Ryan?

    Damn! There's always a catch.

I was hoping to pass myself off as a disgruntled liberal to save some money on my next business trip. But I need to return, so I guess not.

If these yahoos could arrange a work permit, I suppose I could suffer the agony of being paid to move to Spain.

I dunno, it sounds like a pretty good deal, at least compared to the one-way trips to Iraq which our government has sent 1000+ soldiers on so far.

Well, you saw the fleet of jets with the real paint job saying "help them leave".

If I didn't think signing up for this meant some wanna-be Klansman coming to my door to discuss things, I'd seriously ask for a ticket to Canada...

Anyone who wants to leave can get the F out, but please pay your share of the national debt!
