Was planning to do a little pbp, but had to go have a chat with the boss. I have no idea what has happened in the last 25 mins or so...

Plymouth seems to have the better of the play at the moment, although the announcers say that it has been back and forth. Eddie seems to be pretty quite at the moment.

Leeds getting a little more into it now. Eddie with a good cross that is well taken by the PA keeper, then another build up a few moments later.

Eddie with a good move into the area that winds up with Cresswell, who tries to score off a backheel that is well saved.

Just before half. Leeds has had about 10 minutes or so of good pressure, but have not been able to get that last little breakthrough.

Lewis smacked a shot in that was deflected off Cresswell and it went in.

    1-0 Leeds.

Leeds take the lead, Cresswell to get credit after it deflected off of him from a shot by Eddie. (No idea if Cresswell did it on purpose, or whether Eddie called the bank shot.)

It was a Leeds corner that was cleared out, Lewis was playing back on the left. He hit the ball on the volley from 20 yards and it curled right into Creswell's head about 4 yards out.

    Eddie again with the assist...

2-0 to Leeds. (Have to say that it is much more difficult to hit your teammates right on the head, then the corner of the goal...)

I'm watching this game and though Lewis hasn't been heavily involved when he is he certainly is making the most of it. Two great assists by Lewis. The first one would have gone in but was diverted by Cresswell with his head. The second one was a cross that was put on a platter to Blake...it was pinpoint in front of 3 Plymouth defenders. Lewis just almost had another assist but the fwd missed with the header. Then Lewis with the follow up corner wasn't finished. Lewis could easily have had 4 assists.

Wow, that was a beautiful second assist. No doubt about whether or not he meant to do that. From the left, on a dead run, Eddie hits a ball low that curls around behind two defenders but ahead of the keeper. Blake took it in stride at the back post and blasted off the keeper's hands.

Lewis over the last 7 mins is tearing up the left side of Plymouth. The announcers are singing his praises...and rightfully so. 65 min.

Plymouth announcers also going on and on about Eddie...they say that they need to bring in a player during the transfer period who plays "like Eddie Lewis".

They're mentioning him as I type, commenting on how he has got involved in attack and defence brilliantly and worked tirelessly. Go Eddie!

Cresswell's cut-back to Lewis is cleared by a defender about 6 yards out.

Another cross on the ground for Lewis right in front of goal is read by the defender and cleared. Seems they are looking for him to score. 82mins
