Ok .Aliadiere "last night he was simply supurb and has shown his quality time and again." Dn't fully agree there, we all know Arsenal players can dribble, ball control great, pass great, but am i missing something here or are striker meant to put the ball in the net. Supurb OTT, i will give them both a break, 2 years down the track and see how good they are.

I like to call him Berby.

Funny thing though, i was looking through the list of the Premiership's top scorers, and couldn't find his name. Must be some mistake.

rick b u seriously rate adebayor higher than berbatov?

    then you sir are deluded

berbatov IS a better player than ade and i dont mind admitting that, his touch, strength, passing ability, reading of the game, dribbling and finishing especially is better than ade

i cant see how youd ever rate ade higher than dimitar

i agree he doesnt suit arsenals system but to say hes a good mid table player is ludicrous, dont forget this is also his 1st season

"Tottenham boss Martin Jol said: "We are in the last eight and it is our fifth quarter-final in three seasons so that is something to be proud of."

    Raise the white flag Martin!!

I know that this was the one that their fans were worried about.

You're the big "Berby" fan, not me. I would never admit that any scum player is superior to Arsenal's players. I haven't watched him play much, but looking at his scoring record, it seems to me that he's been padding his stats against weak competition in the UEFA Cup. But if you think he's better than RVP and Henry, that's your call. I would disagree.

His problem may be that you support 3 clubs....You could always add Tottenham to your list.

Translation "Ahhhhh ******** - we drew Sevilla. Dammt I was hoping we would have drawn FC Tashkent in this round and then AZ Akllhabgiahgdiaawq in the semis and then not meet Sevilla till the final. Oh well it was fun while it lasted"

Seriously only a cvnt as big as the Spurs manager would actually be happy about getting to the quarter-finals of the UEFA Cup three years in a row.

    Laugh at Spurs?

Look bud, we can win TWO trophies this season. What the ******** can Arsenal win this season? Cup football is about who wants it more on the day, and there IS no reason why we cannot beat Chelsea and Man U. As for Europe
again, if we can beat Sevilla over two legs, then who knows!!

Arsenal are only marginally better than us. Next season, if we sort out our away form and sign well in the close season then we can challenge Arsenal for the Champions League places.

Whilst I agree it is not clever to start a thread about Spurs when we have just been knocked out of loads of cups and Spurs are still in two I have to say you are deluded. Spurs will not be challenging Arsenal next season. You can quote me on that. You don't have the means to do so. The manager, the players and the stadium are not in place yet to challenge Arsenal. You have great players and a couple like Berbatov and Lennon would be in the Arsenal team, but the rest certainly wouldn't. Don't forget this Spurs team is not a whole lot different from that Spurs team of last season who played the least amount of games possible.... and still failed to get a CL place.

Tottenham were 4th for most of last season and f'd it up on the last day!

Tottenham were 2-0 up on us in the CC and f'd it up in a few minutes!

Tottenham were 3-1 up on Chelski in the FA Cup and f'd it up in a few minutes!

I don't even need to elaborate...it just makes me start laughing...especially what they did last season!:p

Lived in London for two years and am planning on attending college there. Don't be so ignorant as to think you have more knowledge on a topic because of your location.

Agree fully there. but in term of preformance at the current date, they are not to far behind. By the way i having seen arsenal put more than 2 goals in against chelsea let a only winning against chelsea, since the jose factor came to town.

Just to spice it up least they can find the back of the net from 5 yards out, unlike our players.
