He really hasnt showed the same level for Les Bleus that he consistently shows for his club. Hopefully it will come by the time the Euros are here. But I was impressed with Coman, and DD for giving him a chance against Germany. The kid has verve.

nice to see gignac back ... very professional player even during the toughest times

now lets see this done in tournament ... I'm tired of seeing us beat germany in friendlies ... i want us to smack them in an actual tournament

It's not surprising considering he plays a totally different role for his club.

All my thoughts are about what is going on in Paris.

To the match though, what can we say about Martial that hasn't already been said? Simply a brilliant prospect with a huge ceiling. Other than that, it was a mediocre game I thought, Germany were admittedly disappointing, but the most important thing would be, unlike some matches, we were not wasteful in front of goal and we managed the game well... in a sense, we kinda played in a German style, and we can win many matches that way with the talent of Martial on the offensive end and Varane on the defensive

How anyone here would take this game seriously is beyond me. Terrible!

My thoughts and prayers go out to the French people dealing with these hard times. God rest their souls.

I can't see this game being played on Tuesday. Which it could.

There's been terrorism in France since the 1800's. Terrorism is a philosophy, not a race, religion, or group of people.

A lot of terrorists are from right wing groups like the Front National. But I'm not calling for right wingers to be banned.

In light of the terror attacks which took place during and after the game, the mood in this forum has been understandably subdued. I have to say that Germany looked flat, notwithstanding the Thomas Muller shot which struck the post. I always thought that not having Ozil out on the pitch would mean a lack of true creativity in the final third. I'm glad that both Giroud and Gignac managed to score -- both players have come in for criticism for their past inefficiency in front of goal for les Bleus. A win over Germany is always nice, even though that was a mere footnote to the events of Friday November 13th. Let's hope for another strong showing versus England at Wembley on Tuesday...

I want to express my condolences for the loss you've suffered. I'm deeply disgusted that the people who did this had links to my country, and I hope we'll do anything to help bring justice upon the ones responsible and to prevent this from happening again so we enjoy the game safe and together.

They could have come from anywhere. It's a global problem at this point.
