Will CHO be "unlucky" again? Will Jorginho continue to blackmail Frank with video evidence of him having a ménage à trois with midget escorts to secure his position as a starter? Will Timo continue to be haunted by the ghosts of Moratas and Torres' past? Tune in today to find out at 12:15 PST
Very tough game this, Leicester are favourites with the bookies (rightly so), a draw would be a good result, I'm hoping that (unlike against Man City) we look like we're at least 'in the game', we simply have to put in our best performance for a number of weeks to get anything out of this one. Perhaps by being the underdogs the team (for a change) will put in the sort of commitment that Fulham put in against us?
Well I will take credit or blame for the frontline, just what I wanted Hope Kov is concentrating on defence first, and beating on and always watching that very talented resident C of theirs
It is, at the very least, ballsy and interesting. I like it. Havertz PLEASE show us what you’re made of today. CHO, ball out. Pul, do something cool.
4-3-3 Attack minded. Would like to see Werner come on and score. That lad badly needs a goal. James back. Rudiger kept on. That midfield 3 has got to work hard. 16Mendy 24James 6Thiago Silva 2Rüdiger 21Chilwell 29Havertz 17Kovacic 19Mount 20Hudson-Odoi 9Abraham 10Pulisic
OG picked up a bit of an ankle injury last match Simon Johnson @SJohnsonSport Regarding Olivier Giroud’s absence for #CFC tonight, been told he picked up an ankle injury against Fulham. It’s not too serious but was too painful to be in squad to face Leicester. #LEICHE
On this day 7 years ago, Eto'o scored a hat-trick against Man Utd in a 3-1 victory. He then proceeds to celebrate with a 13 year old ball boy, named Callum Hudson-Odoi
Just look disorganised on a regular basis. Even with things like throw ins, no-one really looks like they know where to stand, where to run, who to pick up, which space to close down. Basics are completely lacking.
Even losing Frank should be OK - AS LONG AS THE TEAM PUT IN A PERFORMANCE, which isn't happening right now.
Will I look like a complete turkey if I go from "Let's be patient, give Frank more time" to "yeah, this isn't working, time to go" in under 15 minutes?
Chilwell and mendy not on the same page. This stuff shouldn't even be a thought, it needs to be automatic. Even some basic one twos would be a step forward. Not sure what on earth they are working on during training but it's not enough. NB as I type more lazy closing down to give maddison a chance.
