I thought this would be pretty interesting

Jens Lehmann Tim Howard
5 Premiership Appearances 5
450 Minutes on pitch 450
3 Goals conceded 2
34 Saves 28
2 Clean Sheets 3
37 Total distribution 46
13 Bad distribution 15
24 Good distribution 31

Anybody know how to make a table? the HTML Table didn't work for me

chelsea,the death of
against inter..

lehmann did not look so good

Van der meeyde's shot was a rocket, but still, Short Post goals should be better saved (?)

Also, Cruz's chip was great, but Lehmann could've done better I felt.

Good luck to timmay tomorrow!

The only time I have seen Lehman play was the Charity Shield game, in which he was solid. They say he plays a lot like Seaman, but Timmy is a lot like the Great Dane. I guess time will tell about these two.

How can you say Lehmen or however you spell his name looked solid in the Charity Shield????? He looked awful. He kept bungling play after play, his distribution was terrible, he charged out of his box on numerous occassions much to the frustration of his defense, etc. He may improve as he adjusts to the EPL, but he is not better than Howard.

Another important part of the article:

"The American's athleticism and quick distribution are reminiscent of Peter Schmeichel and, like the great Dane, Howard has started a number of slick counter-attacks for United."

This is a part of Timmy's game I never really noticed before his step up to Man U. I'm glad it's being recognized.

Its a real weapon when we have Landon, Beasley, and Convey on the field. Those guys know what do in the open field

......except the Bruce likes to build up slow, no counterattacking soccer ideas at all

here is something else that Howard said which i think is very important and makes his life a lot easier clean-up work quote ""I wasn't doing to much work at the back but clean-up work is always important and if you can do that, you can be ahead of the game. ""
