Tom Morello, Steve Earle, and Billy Bragg to tour together. As long as Morello leaves the rest of Audioslave behind, this should not suck in the least.
Actually, the opening act will be Ralph Nader, who -- many people don't know this -- can pull his lower lip completely over his head and "mouthfart" the entire oeuvre of Bachman Turner Overdrive. Takin Care o' Business, indeed.
I don't think that they're playing together, just touring together. Agreed that a Morello / Steve Earle collaboration has about the same appeal of Cher covering Insane Clown Posse.
You and congorilla both. He was at the tailgate for the China game pumping the new puffy yamaume CD. So, whoever that is.
Maybe so.......but this does nothing to explain who the hell the other two guys are. Ok, I looked up Bragg. He's some English left wing singer who was big in the 80's. And I should know who he is because..............why? I grew up in the 90's. The other guy I read his biography......and I still have no idea who he is. That's what you get, I guess, when you listen to bands like Alice In Chains, Primus, 311, Helmet, etc. (although I would never recoil in horror if someone didn't know who Page Hamilton was)
Yeah, see, that's crap. I've been to Tokyo twice and to Shibuya both times, and when I hung out on the street asking teenage girls to model in a magazine I was damn near arrested. In that square though there is a small bronze statue to a dog, Hachiko, who used to walk with his owner every day from his house to the train station. Everyday when the owner would come home on the train, the dog would be waiting for him. The owner later died, and the dog kept going to the train station to wait for him for 9 years. Everyday for 9 years. Saddest friggin' story I've ever read in a guide book.
