Bernard Diomède. Left winger of Auxerre with whom he had his best moments, France 98 squad (never called-up after), got injured when he had just arrived at Liverpool in 2000 (stopped 1 month) then never came back on the team. Finished his career with AC Ajaccio in Ligue 1 with some good performances here and there, before ending for good and almost anonymously in Ligue 2 with US Créteil-Lusitanos and Clermont-Foot. He already had an injury when he was just after (brilliantly) breaking through with AJA, in '94. A "traditional winger", his performances much depended on his physical form. Left-footed.
Probably already mentioned : Didier Six. 1972-1992, LW, Valenciennes, Lens, Marseille, Cercle Bruges, Strasbourg, VfB Stuttgart, Mulhouse, Aston Villa, Metz, Strasbourg, Valenciennes, Galatasaray, VfB Leipzig, France 52 times. Maybe not mentioned : Xavier Gravelaine. 1989-2005, 2nd striker, LW, AM, Saint-Seurin, Laval, Caen, PSG, Strasbourg, Guingamp, Marseille, Montpellier, PSG, Watford, Le Havre, Monaco, Caen, Istres, Sion, France 4 times. He also had a very good right foot. He often realized the most difficult things with the left but had a good shoot with the right. Like in the following video (Caen v Zaragoza) where he lifts the ball with his left in order to volley it with the right. Here, Didier Six does everything with his left after a control with the chest (Maracana '77, on a pass by Platini). Back to Gravelaine, here's another one with with Watford, where he feints with the left and strike with the right . Here is one that he scores with the left. A beautiful volley-shot for Marseille, against Paris. Gravelaine 26 OM goals playlist : https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL9Jk_qqJX0dH9Cpl2INi_xykh_OFI-R4T (gives me an idea for a thread)

Erwin Koeman Dutch international midfielder who played for Groningen, Mechelen and Eindhoven from the late-1970s to late-1990s. Manfred Kreuz German midfielder who played for Schalke 04 from the mid-1950s to late-1960s.
What are the games/highlights you saw where Janssen and Koeman played in? Janssen is most famous for his penalty kick in the final, sometimes mockingly called "the only proper kick of the game".
Stefan Minkwitz : midfielder who began his career in his native city Magdeburg then played in 2. Bundesliga (Duisburg, Stuttgarter Kickers mostly and Fortuna Düsseldorf incl. 10 times in 1.
