The guy had looked questionable in terms of mobility and level of endurance to keep his form for 90 minutes. It seems like he worked his a** off in improving those areas and that's what we saw in first few games. Yes. He should get a shot to make the 26-man squad in late November.
Maybe he can make it on the plane to Qatar. IDK if Bento will trust him over guys like Lee Jaesung, Lee Donggyeong... and maybe rightfully so. Hope he gets tested out though
It is amazing that Kangin somehow made up what had been called out as his weaknesses (i.e. work rate, commitment to support defense while losing the possession).
Dang. LKI posted an assist with a beautiful set-piece against Real Madrid. Paulo. It would be foolish to rule him out at this point.
Bento to reveal squad for friendlies tomorrow. 1G3A in 5 games where he is the pivotal player in a bottom table club. Ironed out a lot of his weaknesses. No way Bento doesn't pick him right?
logic and reason says yes...but more I see Bento, the more he seem to be similar to HMB when it comes to stubbornness when selecting players
Kang = Korean Messi, LOL. He's really improved this year under the Mexican Coach. That Mexican Coach has turned this team around. ------------- MADRID (AP) — Struggling Spanish club Mallorca hired veteran Mexican coach Javier Aguirre on Thursday. Aguirre arrives with the goal of saving Mallorca from relegation with nine rounds to go in the Spanish league. The club owned by American businessman Robert Sarver sits in 18th place with 26 points, one from safety. “Mallorca has always made a good impression on me,” Aguirre said. “There is potential for the team to stay in the first division.” Aguirre, who coached México's national team during two separate stints, had been fired by Mexican club Monterrey in February. He also coached the national teams of Japan and Egypt. Aguirre has vast experience in the Spanish league, having previously coached Osasuna, Atlético Madrid, Zaragoza, Espanyol and Leganés. He coached more than 450 matches in the Spanish league, Copa del Rey, Champions League and Europa League. The 63-year-old Aguirre replaces Luis García Plaza, who was fired after the team lost at Espanyol on Sunday to slid into the relegation zone. Mallorca, which has young American forward Matthew Hoppe in its squad, has lost six games in a row and hasn’t won since a home victory against Athletic Bilbao in February. The club is back in the top flight after a season in the second division. “Being in an uncomfortable position makes you give something extra," Aguirre said. “I hope it all goes well and in the end we can all celebrate Mallorca's permanence in the first division.” García Plaza had stayed two seasons at Mallorca, leading the club back to the first division in his first year in charge. https://www.usatoday.com/story/spor...allorca-hires-mexican-coach-aguirre/49978535/ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Javier_Aguirre
both. the thing that drew him criticism, holding and spinning and over stepping, in the middle of the pitch was corrected. he now moves the ball quickly into the next guy. but that very aspect when done near the top of the box he creates space for himself for that through pass bulked up improve defensive game maintain crossing accuracy and every so often, goals
Caught the last 30 minutes of the game vs Barca. Was impressed by Kangin, opportunities were limited but every time he touched the ball you felt he was going to do something dangerous. I wasn’t upset like most fans that Bento didn’t use Kangin these past friendlies, because we are very deep in his position. But this match solidified in my mind that he should be starting for us
Initially he came out with both guns blazing...looked pissed off then there were some that wanted to be heroes, that's why they lost. but if they play like they did today, Mallorca might be a solid mid table team
