He should come to MLS or K-league instead.

So why not MLS or K-league? ;)

Anyways, I'll be happy just to see him get action finally. If Chungy does end up in Australia, it'll be interesting how the A-League acquired 2 Asian stars recently.

The problem with going to Turkey is their currency. Unlless he gets paid in Euros, he may end up royally screwed if paid in Turkish lira for the next two years.

True, it's just that there really isn't much options for him in Europe, especially with England out of the picture, whilst Germany and the Netherlands won't be looking at him either.

If a European contract is not an option, just go to MLS or A-league. I personally want him to come to FC Seoul, for obvious reasons.

    EDIT:

Nvm. Thinking twice, I see LCY coming back to K-league will be of substantial benefit for the domestic game. His experience and know-how will help K-league players (esp. young ones looking to make it in Europe one day).

Also, playing in Korea might actually help him salvage his international career. He doesn't have to fly long distances to train at Paju, etc.

Lee CY just doesn't have the legs anymore to be a winger or even a full-time international. A lot of mileage + big injury from years ago.

If Lee CY wants to play longer, he needs to convert to a playmaking CM.

Apparently, he agreed with an European team and he just needs to pass medical test.

    Uefa league coefficient

Russia - 6th (only 3 pts behind Ligue 1 so could soon become 5th)

    Netherlands - 14th

    ???

No chance. They are top of the league right now and I don't think LCY is good enough for such team at his current form.

Among named Russian teams, he might have more chance with Locomotive who won the league last year but it looks like them winning the league last year might have been a one season wonder as they seem to be struggling this year. They also have CL for winning the league last year so that's a plus as well.
