    Did he?
I know the fans liked him and Jol initially liked him. But I guess he was treated like shit in a sense because he fell out of favor...

The entire back line was slagged off to be fair though.
However yeah, I think he was picked out for some special treatment
    by the fans.

Is there any way that LCY can be rested before the WC? The kind of special attention he's been getting, e.g. arsenal, and the long double season he's been in is really taking its toll on him. I hate to see him go to South Africa in this state.

Also how did he look in the IC game to you guys? I couldn't tell too well because the entire team was trying so hard but did LCY look as tired as he's been looking for Bolton?

Jol actually called him the best left back in Europe when he brought him over if I'm not mistaken.

PJS tips LCY for EPL stardom

South Korea captain Park Ji-Sung has told Soccernet he has been "very impressed" by the impact made by Bolton's Lee Chung-Yong in the Premier League this season.

Lee has started 19 Premier League games for the Trotters after signing from FC Seoul in a £2.2 million deal in August, scoring four goals, and has been a dynamic presence on the right wing despite the club struggling under both Gary Megson and Owen Coyle this season.

I remember this but I thought he was mistreated by management or something before he left...

Hehe PJS has been talking a lot recently hasn't he? Good for him to use his star power to highlight his hoobaes in Britain.

Oh and someone on the Utd forums (forgot if it was BS or RedCafe) suggested that LCY replace PJS in a couple years, not just as a player but as their next Asian commodity lol.

LOL. Management mistreats the managers not the players.
I don't know how Ledley King is still there. Might still be the captain too.

The government changed the rules a couple of years back, so even jr high drop outs have to complete the military service these days.

LCY was extremely lucky I guess

Im so glad this kid didnt break his ankle in that one friendly earlier last year.

Another inch or even less and he wouldve ended up like Ramsey or Holden.
