We get Chekski away, after Stoke away The Scum get Crystal Palace at home after Alderfeckindshot at home These things aren't fixed right??
it really is amazing - look at the last 5 years of CL/CC/FA Cup draws - ManU have had some of the easiest draws in history.
They really have to repair the drawing format...like a team that plays rounds 3, 4, and 5 away should NOT have to play the quarters away, I mean this is complete and utter crap. I like that we get to play Chelsea, I mean another big game, but Chelsea's at least had a home match in the competition before and they need to find a way to factor that in. This is getting ridiculous.
The draws are engineered and have been for years. I've just assumed a bad draw when the scum are still in the competition. Unfortunate because it does compromise the game's credibility but that's the way it is...
I seriously doubt they are, otherwise the British/English press would be all over it. This isn't something you could just hide in the UK, or anywhere else in the Western World, for that matter. If such allegations were true, the local media will be having a ball. I personally think the mismanagement of the Carling Cup, in addition to Liverpool's poor circumstances, led to this 'unlucky' draw. Having said that, if you think about it, this could work in our favor. Should we win against Chelsea, it will boost our players' confidence levels, which will come in handy in the semifinal. For all we know, it might take us all the way to the final, giving us the chance to lift the trophy. Should we lose, however, it still wont be a major disappointment, as it would provide us the opportunity to focus more of our attention on securing a top four spot in the Premier League table.
I'm not fussed. We'd have to play a big team at least once if we wanted to win this thing. Lets get it out of the way now. Plus, I want Torres to have that look he gets when something goes wrong.... again.
Interesting, but we play Chelsea 48 hours after playing Man City. And then we meet Chelsea, again during the weekend. How deep is that squad?
The odds of having the first 4 League Cup Matches away are only 16 - 1, but those are lousy odds. Crystal Palace played their first 4 rounds at home. Arsenal, both at home. Newcastle, 3 away, tho...and they lost at Eeeew Park.
