http://www.philadelphiaunion.com/news/2010/08/watch-kyle-and-sebastiens-crib A mildly amusing video that shows the two players in their house. What caught my eye, though, is that their pad is completely lacking in Sons of Ben schwag. This cannot stand. Can we somehow remedy this situation?
Funny, I met them in West Chester sitting outside having lunch the afternoon of the Colorado game. I thought "what the heck are these two doing out here on gameday?" Then I see the "cribs" feature when I watched the DVR of the game. They couldn't have been nicer and Kyle was giving serious props to the SOBs. He said they hear us all game and thanks so much for all the support and energy.
Professional athletes are humans too! A good pregame meal is still an important part of my gameday routine.
Do we stand outside and chant about their everyday activities? Come on NAKA.. Cook the Rice it's REALLY pretty SIMPLE... Put the rice into the pot and we'll go f*cking mental!
Who knows, they may actually be looking for a room mate. When they initially moved in there it was 3 of them sharing the house (Naka, LeToux, and Brian Perk). So with Perk returning to LA they probably have some extra room if anyone is looking to split the rent. It's a shame too, because Perk was let go so soon after his 21st birthday.
we shower too *clap clap* we shower too *clap clap* we shower too we shower too we shower too *clap clap*
Considering what Naka's making this year versus LeToux's salary, I'm guessing that LeToux is paying most of the bills. It also seems like Naka was kidding about some of the stuff in the house like how the floors came from some sunken ship. Sounds awful rich for a couple MLS players. Seemed a little odd that they were eating on their own before a match, I would think the team would eat together.
No need for stalking. As a hobby of mine I help out with citizen investigations for various missing persons, etc. One of the things I've gotten good at is being able to match up a place via Google Earth/Bing Maps by viewing a video. The scene in this video where they are on their back porch gave more than enough evidence to locate where they live. Obviously I would never release the exact location, but I thought it was funny how easy it was. I thought the video was hilarious, and my wife really liked the way they seem very genuine, as opposed to when we meet a lot of players from other major sports. I hope both of these guys decide to stick around awhile.
If you know the area, though. The pergola in between the group of homes really gives it away. On a side note, as my personal public service announcement, whenever you make YouTube videos, etc. you should be EXTRA cautious about any sort of landmark that may be in the background. People usually don't think about it, but it can be a huge privacy issue.
Two young guys...why aren't they killing it in a loft downtown? Someone has to step up and fill the void left by Pat the Bat, dammit! I loved Seba in that video- from the double takes at Kyle's sarcasm, to his general French-ness: "Ze best 'ockey team everrr".
I think I know where that is. I'm pretty sure I have a friend in the same neighborhood. Time to pay someone a visit! lol i chalked that up to pandering
I don't know about that; I heard from another source that a lot of the guys on the Union and the Phillies were REALLY into the Flyers last year.
Some of the longer tenured Flyers have been known to show up and try to blend in at Phils games too. Althought the one personal sighting I've had wasn't too hard to spot, it's tough to blend in when you have sideshow-bob-esque hair... I wouldn't be surprised at all if it's all just pandering and athletes being fans of sports in general, but the philly fan in me loves to make believe
