Honestly level-wise this is MLS without DPs which is impressive for a scrapped together league. It gives you that pure feeling that ordinary people stand a chance so long as they're good. They interviewed a player who couldn't find a team during half time.
That's nice. At worst one of the guys here cpuld even use it as an audition for the MMLS or even for a fringe spot at Liga MX.

Those teams were kicked out for the current season. I think they couldn't pay their players among other things. They'll probably come back next season if the league makes it that long.
What exactly were they trying to do with this league? Are they trying to make it a developmental league? A league to compete with Liga MX? Maybe they should come up with a plan to actually pay their players first, before anything.
This league was dead before it ever really started imo. Seems they half-assed the planning. So many teams having such bad finances tells me they didn't even put much effort into verifying that the owners/teams had enough to keep their teams afloat.
