Local media here in England are reporting this as a done deal, any news in the US on this?, WBA just promoted to EPL and have sgined Kanu with the object of uniting these 2 up front.
Re: Landon Donovan to West Bromwich Albion It would be a bit complicated to buy LD's rights (considering Bayer Leverkeusen still "own" him), and I'm sure we would've heard some rumblings around here if anything was in the works with WBA. Not saying they're not trying to get him, but with all the parties involved in negotiations for LD, i'm sure we would've heard about a "done deal".

MLS may have his rights through the season, but as far as I know after the season his future is (was?) not clear. It is weird that the rumour mill has not picked up on this already. Then again, if WBA came to Bayer and MLS today and said "7 million pounds is in the mail if Donovan is on the next flight over," I'd be surprised if they said no.
