Congratulations to Estudiantes and El Bruxo- well deserved!
Cruzeiro was either drunk or had no idea what they were doing in that huge stadium...

Missed the game because the place I went to didn't carry Fox en Espanol! They carried GolTv and Fox Soccer only.

You support Flu & Flamengo?? Am I missing something?

They definetly dissapointed their own barras but big time...much bigger than a usual loss...

They tied in La Plata 0-0...

They were playing the 2nd leg at home in fron of their own...

They were 1-0 in the beginning of the second half...

Even if Estudiantes would have tied the game, they had an extra 30 minutes of extra time AT HOME...

Not to mention, away goals didn't even count...

I don't know what other advantages they could ask for. They literally had everything to win.

This is a classic choke, a classic collapse, or a classic meltdown...you pick...

sadly for Cruzeiro and its fans, what you say is all true... I'm just glad it wasn't my team. I was supporting Cruzeiro as it's from Brazil; if that had been SPFC... *shaking head*

I read today that Veron passed on $3 million offered by MLS to try to rebuild Estudiantes. Admirable.

Estudiantes was better in both games and deserved the title. there's no question about it.

to me, Cruzeiro was disappointing 'cause the team doesn't played it's best.

I guess this was a very exciting final for the neutrals. Congrats to both teams for that. Now let's see what Estudiantes can do at the CWC.
