How was the goal? I can't watch the game because my media player is fecked up, unforunaltey. Can somone please discribe it?
Sick through ball from Landon through two defenders found Herculez all alone with the keeper. Reis came out, but Herculez was able to juke by him and kicked the ball into the open net. Great pass by Donovan, and it was good composure in front of the net by Gomez, which has been lacking with the Galaxy lately.
53'. LA with a good spell in front of the Revs goal with a free kick shot by Donovan and a corner kick, but they aren't able to test Reis.
56' Direct pass to Cobi down the left flank lets him get a good cross into the box, but Reis is able to get a hand on it before the ball can get to a waiting Landon. Galaxy are starting to get the ball into the attacking third a little more.
59' Donovan's pass off a free kick into the box gets to an open Herculez, but his shot goes right to Reis. Landon and Herculez are starting to hook up a litte; maybe a sign of things to come?
63' Dorman hits a good shot from out of the box forcing a diving save by Hartman. First real chance for NE since their PK.
69' Donovan booked for dissent. Nagamura called for a handball right outside the box, and Landon gave the ref an earful. After all of his time yelling at refs, I guess we all can say he had it coming. Ensuing free kick forces a good save by Hartman. Taylor Twellman with a good shot on the corner, but it's saved by Hartman. Twellman on the ground, and Kevin's furious about something Taylor up.
Troy Roberts is definatly no Chris Albright when it comes to attacking. I don't think Chris would stop running foward with 20 yards of free space in front of him.
74' Albright with a great run on the right flank, and a good cross to the top of the box to an unmarked Vagenas. But Pete's shot goes into row Z. Sub by LA. Albright off, Pando in.
I'm surprised with that sub, Chris was playing pretty good. I would have taken off Roberts, and moved Chris back to keep another attacker in the game. 75' Sub by NE. Dorman off, Edozien on.
81' Sub by LA. Gomez off, Ngwenya on. Gomez looked tired. Oh, and to the announcer, it's Ngwenya, not Ngwenyea.
86' LA hasn't had a good attacking chance in a while. Looks like they're content for the tie. James Riley booked for stopping a breakaway by Ngwenya.
89' Ngwenya ruining a counter-attack by slowing down. If he challenges the defender he has a good chance on goal.
3 minutes of stoppage time. Galaxy playing 11 men behind the ball. Vagenas booked for dragging a man down.
