PSG have reportedly offered the 36 year-old a 2 year deal worth an estimated €3 million. There are a number of other suitors for the former Juventus giant including Monaco, Galatasary, LA Galaxy and Brazilian club Fluminenese. Thuram is said to favour PSG's offer as it suits his personal situation at present.

I would think something, someone, somewhere is in the works. Earlier in the season Bravo and Lala were talking about addressing our then needs. Which I think are still basically the same. Defense and left mid? Yah? Why not make our team even better!

Agreed, this is one signing that would make me a happy panda. However, I think it's complete BS. How can we pay him given our cap situation and our lack of an additional DP slot?

I hate pandas, and this would be RIDICULOUS... Which means that it will never happen.

I realize Thuram still plays for France but this tournament is his last hurrah. His career is about to fall over the cliff.

X is enough of an old Euro defender for me.

How many goals did they score in those two games? I'll give you a hint, it's between -1 and 1.

They didn't lose because of the single goal they conceded each game.

Based on how he played yesterday against the Dutch, his signing would rival the Vanney signing for stupidity.

Then make your argument by saying you dislike Thuram because he is old, not because France lost to Scotland, as the two were completely unrelated.

I don't think it's a good signing either, but it must be said the Dutch just put a touchdown past France and Italy, Thuram is not the only one to blame, Holland are torching everyone right now, and Romania are in for a world of hurt unless Van Basten decides to rest people for the knockout rounds.

To the Galaxy, of course. :D

But since he'd be playing for us, it won't matter! :)

I hope they don't get him, celestine babayaro i was liking that idea he isn't as old as all these guys they are trying to get now, Thuram was always a step slow last year for barca, we are proving people right when they say mls gets old players and they come to retire!

PSG has the most racist ultras in France. Why would that suit his personal situation?

I get the distinct impression that we make offers to these players so we can be named in these reports. Pretty good free marketing if you think about it.

What's more likely is that LAG never made an offer, but the player's agent floated the rumor to pressure the team they really want to play for. LAG are being used as a stalking horse because of the big Beckham deal.

He will sign with PSG! (France)
No doubt.. He is also "very" old (35), so I dosen´t see a future of him...
But Davids skills would be nice to see on the Galaxy midfield!
