Jonathan (Cleveland, OH): Kyle, You have been frequently criticized for being undresized as well as recently underperforming. How would you respond to those criticisms and how to you deal with criticism from the media and fans? Thanks

Kyle Martino : (2:23 PM ET ) Even bad press can be good .. the only thing worse is no press. If people critcize, that means they have high expectation. When you are in the spotlight, you are asking to be criticized. You just have to decide how much is relevant and what you need to address.

So he took my question and then sidestepped it. I knew I shouldn't have asked about how he dealt with the media, but I figured he wouldn't anser it otherwise. I guess I was right. The whole chat was pretty worthless.

I can't believe he thinks other teams have stopped using fouls as a tactic to take him out of the game. Either he expects to get hacked 80 times a match or he's delusional.

 

i didn't think it was that bad of a chat. he was pretty blunt bout andrulis.

 

I think Kyle will be the one player who benefits the most from this coaching change. Can't wait to see what happens, with him, Buddle and Szetela especially, under new leadership.

 

At least we know his contract is up at the end of next season.

To be honest, unless we see a remarkable turnaround I'd question whether he's even MLS standard.

 

Apart from the work permit issue, no chance in hell. The teams who could sign him cannot afford the luxury of a work shy fop who does buck all.

 

I'm trying to think of an airy-fairy league where weakos can ply their trade unmaimed... Lumxembourg perhaps?

I'm sure they have some sort of league. If not he could always try Scotland, or the Welsh Premier.

Talking of which, TNS, from the village of Llansantfraidd, a mere 10 miles or so from my home town, managed to hold Liverpool to just 3-0 in the Champs League prelims yesterday... at Anfield!

This is accurate. He did kind of throw Andrulis under the bus.

 

Which is totally understandable as Andrulis has been doing the same to his star players all season long.

 

Seems only fair if GA was adding D (normal), but KMart seemed to run out of gas in earlier games. If BOB pulls him for lack of effort in the final 20 I'm sure he, and we, will know abut it.
