Looks like Bordeaux and Rennes are after their striker Diony, will be a huge loss for Dijon...but not as huge as losing Abeid and Reynet.

    Found some gifs

almost assist to martin (with his "weak" foot)

    great pass to Abeid (?)

ball controll with the left, pass to Tavares (who was wrongly called offside) with the right

another pass to Tavares right trough the opponent's leg

Has only played 217 minutes and it's only a coincidence he hasn't scored or got an assist yet.

Well if you want to play a 22 years old with 217 minutes in the ligue 1...then you must be a brave person. Luckly the coach has a common sense.

Imagine what would mean for Kwon playing bad in this match with Dijon losing and get relegated.

No, don't make excuses. 22 year old might be relatively young but Kwon is an international and he isn't some 18 year old prospect. They paid couple of million to bring Kwon in. They need to play Kwon in situations like these. No babying a full-time international during relegation battle.

    Dijon won meaning they're 16!
Still the relegation is still tight and they must make sure to win the next game.

Dijon is pretty much on course to remain in ligue 1 next season.

The only way that they could get relegated directly...is that Bastia, Caen and Lorien get (all the team) a better result than Dijon.

Dijon will be 18th in case of 2 teams getting better results than Dijon.

But Bastia plays Marseille away, and Caen goes to Paris. On top of that, Lorient plays Bordeaux at home...Bordeaux who can still be 5th with a win.

The situation at the bottom of the table looks like this

    16th Dijon 36
    17th Caen 36
    18th Lorient 35
    19th Bastia 34
    20th Nancy 32

Nancy not relegated yet but can't reach Dijon et Caen.

    Round 38:

    Lorient (Home) v Bordeaux (6th)
Lorient loss or tie and Dijon is safe

    Caen at PSG
Caen loss and Dijon is safe

Of course, if Dijon win at Toulouse (11th and presumably nothing to play for) they are safe.

If Dijon draws then they won't be directly relegated. But Lorient and Caen both must win.

Dijon being in the top flight nex season, can be the turning point for Kwon's career.

the squad for the next year it's pretty much set

Reynet/Leroy; Chafik, Varrault/Lang, Loties, Haddadi;Abeid-Amalfitano; XXX, Kwon, Sammaritano; Tavares.

Diony and Lees-Melou are on their way out, while i got this feeling that Abeid will stay wiht a much bigger wage. Probably they are going to buy a right winger and that's pretty much about it for their ideal starting 11.

They need to improve their defense though, but Kwon isn't involved in this.

well, maybe.. maybe not? last i checked, they have a habit of picking up multiple free transfers in off season. also, Kwon hasn't done jack shit to be in starting XI yet (except 1 decent game vs Marseille). until he actually does something, we don't know how it will unravel next season for Kwon. it could go well or could be another nightmare due to multiple reasons (injury, problem w/ adapting to France and so forth).

why do you think half season it's a nightmare for Kwon?

I was expecting him to play around 200/300 minutes and that's exaclty how much he is going to play.

Considering few months required to adapt, i think it's a pretty decent playing time, and he could have scored or gave at least two assist with the little time is playing.

I will start to worry if next season he won't become a starter, but until that moment...i'm not worried about a thing.

It was pretty much. Dijon paid good money to sign him. He isn't a 'youth worth developing' signing, he was supposed to be an immediate impact. And until now, he hasn't done anything to justify the money that Dijon paid. The manager obviously considers him not good enough to be a starter in the team, no reason to assume that it should change next season.
