Once again, for those of us unfortuante people monitoring from afar.

If only there was a pirate stream of ESPN2 i could find..

WEll...for now, i'm listening, and we're down 1-0 ,and we're not playing well, and diego just slapped Mullan in the face.

    So...not good.

Wait till you see the goal, mate: it's ridiculous. DeRo shoots/crosses from about three yards off the end-line out on the left, and it floats over Bo at the near post and into the far side of the net. Unbelievable.

We're spending way too much time defending, we've had maybe 1 chance really. Bo has had 2 very nice saves, on a hit by Ching and one by Donovan. The goal was off a small deflection and just floated over Bo. We really need to pick up the offense. We need to pick it up or else we'll be in KC next week a goal or two down.

I don't actually know if i would like to see that.

    At least not now.

THe only way that goal will bo OK is if we score at least 1 more.

That's where you come in, Wizards!

Khari Stephenson on for Igor Simutenkov.

There is not a thing about the above sentence that makes an ounce of sense.

As bad as KC's playing, it's not helping any that Rob and Eric seem to be trying hard not to openly root for San Jose...earlier talking about who San Jose would like to see win the other series, for instance...

Of course, the Wizards aren't doing anything to prove who's REALLY the better team of the two...how frustrating...

I'm glad i'm not the only one that notices how much San Jose dick those two suck.

If anything, that's a reason to be happy i'm not watching, i guess.

    I noticed that as well.

Who wants to bet that Meola recovers to try and play the second leg?

Sounding like this whole Garcia-on-donovan thing isn't working all that well anymore.

From this game alone, I've been developing a healthy hatred for Waibel myself.

What a frustrating game for KC...can't string more than 3 passes together or keep possession for 30 seconds, one good chance at the end of the first half but other than that there's been NOTHING. Josh has shown some flashes, but Davy might as well not even be on the field, haven't heard his name once yet.

Actually the times Garcia has been on Donovan he has done well on him, the thing is, Donovan is in the O mid spot and therefore Garica isn't on him that much, instead it's been Guti most of the time.

To be fair, you aren't watching the match. Simutenkov hasn't been playing well (no-one has), and he looks a little tired, too. You guys are in trouble, though...SJ is remembering they are the defending champs. :(

    Garcia to D mid.

    Gutierrez to Left mid.

    Shavar instead of Khari.

    Shavar in Central D.

    Yeah, but....Khari Stephenson?

I haven't seen him do much of anything this year, much less contribute to the attack.

At least put on someone where you know that there's a chance he MIGHT create something (Walsh).

In the first half, Gansler said that KC needed to build its attack off its possession game. Thus far, there has been NO possession game by KC.
    Thus, no possession=no attack=frustration.

Edit: Kerry Zavagnin's on the field? When did he come on? (sarcasm) I haven't heard his name all day until just now in the 72nd minute.

Indicative of the poor game today by KC. What a terrible day to lay an egg.

We always...and I mean ALWAYS have problems with posession in big games like this.

    ESPECIALLY at San Jose.

Doubt it...San Jose are the California team and have the more recognizable players. Plus, Wynalda played for SJ, so he's gotta hump them all day long.
These guys are reinforcing the idea that MLS would rather not have KC be seen or successful, the same people that formed a schedule with the Wizards only having one nationally televised game all season.

    I agree, though, it's sickening.

    Walsh for Jewsbury.

Even though I cant see...sounds to me like a good sub. Diego has his moments. Now's the time for one (or two..or three) of them.

This is one of the worst games I've seen us play in a long, long time.
