Choi Dong-soo was part of an influx of Koreans into the Indonesian Super League after the Super Reds were left out of this year's Singapore league.

After Saturday, he might not be keen on sticking around.

How many Koreans are playing in Indonesia? There seems to be a lot of Koreans playing in Thai Premier league as well.

I counted 11 during the last matchday. It's likely down to Super Reds players suddenly being available and the Super League instituting a 3+2 rule, reserving two spots for players from AFC member nations.

PSM Makassar: Jung Hwan-park (scored two goals at Persitara North Jakarta), Shin Hyun-joon, Joo Ki-hwan
Persik Kediri: Han Ji-ho (scored the winner today vs. Pelita Jaya), Na Byung-yul
Persisam Samarinda: Choi Dong-soo (who came off the bench and played yesterday despite the attack)
    Persela Lamongan: Ham Hyeong-kyu
    Persema Malang: Park Chul-hyung
    Persitara: Kim Jong-kyung
    Persebaya Surabaya: Jeon Byuk-euk
    Persiba Balikpapan: Kim Yong-hee

TrooperBari, do you happen to know why the Super Reds aren't participating in the 2010 S-League season?

When the S-League doled out spots for this year, it allowed in an all-Chinese team affiliated with Beijing Guo'an and Etoile FC (a team comprised of geezers from the lower divisions in France) in place of DPMM (a team from Brunei, which actually did quite well) and Super Reds.

    Why? Gawd only knows.

Nearly a month later, a verdict. Apparently the Indonesian FA took a dim view of Choi and Persisam getting in the way of Persiwa's punches and kicks.

Choi is understandably pissed. It's too bad this had to happen now as he's been in a good run of form. He's played in all but one of his team's matches since the incident and scored a brace against Persijap on Saturday.
