What I don't get is the double-standard name calling by Latinos. For example, would Mexicans get into a hissy fit if I call them Puerto Ricans or vice versa? I mean, I got called a "Chino" by this old Venezuelan customer as he went on and on about wonderful Venezuela this and superb Venezula that. When I intentionally said, "You Cubans are the best", he got upset and said," me no Cubano blah blah"
latinos have this rivalry mindset like us east asians. so its like a guy calling you a chinese when your korean.
Yeah but I think his point was that if they call every asian person 'chino' then how can they get upset when we mislabel them (like calling a Venezuelan a Cuban, for example)
lol i could care less whether a latino was a mexican or Guatemalan they're all brown to me..i guess that goes with them too.
People who live close to each other like to blow up small differences, when to other people they have practically the same culture and they're all related by blood.
F*cking idiots who change Wiki. I thought the following week someone would make him Japanese but I guess he's back to Filipino.
Yes, it was initially misinformed by the Spanish Marca magazine. They asked Silva of his origins in a recent interview and corrected it.
ok cheers woorijim... so then i take it back - melon this was a terrible find. thanks 4 wasting our time... i still can't believe some of the hard-ons people got over this and the newbies it brought out of the woodwork. and for someone who isn't even full blooded Korean. alas, the more the KNT fans the merrier, but good grief!?!
He's Granfather was Filo, so is his mother. Marca reported it all wrong. WRONG. EPIC FAIL. GO TO HELL MARCA.
Right. Who cares if he's part Korean or not. He's clearly a siesta-loving Spaniard who's about to join Greece.
Apparently he's Japanese. Wouldn't be surprised if his mom is Zainichi https://www.foxsportsasia.com/football/949386/5-superstars-asian-descent/
Same here I had one Venezolano telling me proudly they are all very smart but I asked her whats a recent great achievement coming out of Venezuela, she looked perplexed.
