What do you think of our team's formation? Prior to this game we used 4-3-3, but today we started with 4-4-2. Which suits us better?
the opposition was too weak to assess it properly - but it could be used as a future reference when we play against other weak teams, I suppose.
8-0 I actually felt embarassed for Taiwan. They came out trying to play defense and got hammered. Everyone played okay but it was against Taiwan, so there's no reason to get excited. I was actually kind of surprised that PJS, LYP and Seol K H played today. I guess Pim wanted to make sure we got at least 4 goals. I still dont like JJJ's performance but it was against Taiwan and it felt like it was a shooting practice for everyone. It's hard to tell if 4-4-2 worked today or not because most of our chances were coming from free kicks and Taiwan's mistakes of offside traps. I like the 4-4-2 better but it needs to be tried on against a real team.
just for once, enjoy the big win. We knew it was going to be an easy kill and the score was bigger than most of you expected. Why not just simply enjoy it for once?
Agreed. It's not like we beat real sh*tty opponents in big margins anymore. I'm enjoying the 8-0 win.
dont get me wrong, i enjoyed the goals and the atmosphere of the stadium was amazing as usual - korea really does have the best fans, BUT seriously it feels sort of embarrassing enjoying a win against Taiwan that has highschoolers and college kids in their national team. thats why i was kind of shocked that trio epl guys were playing the taiwan team was a joke, they didnt even try to play offense, it was kind of embarrassing. looked like a public hanging...
Folks, Let us enjoy this victory, and enjoy the juicy headlines that comes with it "Rampant Koreans ease to victory" - AFC "It was agonizing to sit thru this" - Taiwan Coach LMAO
Let's just enjoy the moment, shall we? I was hoping for Pim to use a couple of younger guys who had just a few caps. But I guess he played safe after the Iran draw and went for the jugular this time. *guffaw* btw, seol is reading's player of the month for august if you missed the news.
You know the hardest thing in football is playing against 11 men defense team, we traditionally had trouble with real defensive set. Remember Maldives and Vietname games?? we have two games left Syria @ home and Iran @ away if we just tie one of those games, we are through
