you're right. Asian Games generally don't attract much attention. But this one's at home so there are a little more than usual interest.

Also, whatever the Korea's sports association says, doesn't reflect the people's interest. They could say they're are aiming for a billion medals. It still hasn't reflected any opinions of the Korean people.

My personal hope is one lousy win over South Korea in soccer, i don't care if it's only youth level.

So what is this? The Olympics on a smaller scale? Same events and stuff?

83 medals? How many events do the Asian Games have, then, because that seems like a pretty astronomical number?

Well, it is the largest multi-sports event other than the Olympics. I don't know how many events there are, but there are some that are NOT in the Olympics as the Olympic sports are pretty West-centric. I believe Wushu is a medal sport in the Asian games.

The very same thing happened to China. They calles it the red eye disease. It is extremely contagious. Thousands of people in 9 provinces have been infected.
