I called it. Had a feeling it was bound to happen as soon as PJH left and Muto scored a brace.

Hilarious as he was first to arrive and now first to leave. He should have just stayed in Germany and waited with his agent by the phone or drove to Augsburg.

So what happens to this thread? Do we close it with PJH and KJC in the heading? Do we shift the contents to a mega-Korean Augsburg thread?

Have we ever had three KPAs in the same European team? And no, the Barca boys do not count just yet...

So iirc, JDW hasn't been called up for these WCQs. Has HJH been called up for both matches? I'm guessing JDW will pick KJC up from the airport, and KJC will stay at his flat?

This is all hilarious. PJH, KJC and Okazaki must have had some pact... lol

Did KJC even have time to hit up a 미용실? This really is hilarious!

And it's also one of the best news of this transfer window. It's a total 일석이조 situation where both KJC and JDW help each other to get back to form and HJH pays back KJC for inviting him over during his rehab from knee surgery...

It almost feels like HJH planned all this without telling KJC.

KJC lands at the airport and arrives home... Gets a call... "Surprise! Get back on the plane!" Lol...

I really can't believe that in the span of less than one week, this thread has two seismic shifts like this. Wow...

In English for those of you who missed the two KFA tweets in Korean in the prior page.

    http://english.yonhapnews.co.kr/news/2015/08/31/0200000000AEN20150831005800315.html

"SEOUL, Aug. 31 (Yonhap) -- South Korean football player Koo Ja-cheol has switched clubs in the Bundesliga and his national team status for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers is in limbo, officials said Monday.

The Korea Football Association (KFA) said Koo flew back to Germany on Sunday, only hours after he'd arrived to join the national team, so that he could complete the transfer from Mainz 05 to FC Augsburg.

Koo will miss Thursday's World Cup qualifying match against Laos. The KFA said Koo could rejoin the team for the second qualifier, against Lebanon on the road next Tuesday, if he takes care of all necessary administrative work in Germany..."

Lol, Mainz are raking in the profits made by Tuchel's signings:

    (All bought two seasons ago)
Johannes Geis: bought for €900k sold for €12M
Shinji Okazaki: bought for €1.5M sold for €11M
Park Joo-Ho: bought for €1.15M sold for €3.5M
Sebastian Polter: bought for €750k sold for €2.3M

Making €24.5M within 2 years for Mainz. :whistling: They can't thank him enough.

Any words on the transfer fee on Koo?

According to Bild, 5m Euro. I imagine Mainz is reasonably happy to come out even on Koo.

Augsburg has made a lot of money in the past three years. That's why they can now afford this KJC transfer... Happy to see KJC finally go back even in this circuitous manner.

To be fair before this season barely anybody expected Mainz to play the lowbrow way they ended up doing. Kudos to Heidel to see the resulting player type mismatches in the squad and allow them to leave instead prolonging the pain, I guess...

So the Korean marketing guy at Mainz is probably just sitting at his desk waiting for that call from HR..

It's Germany. He'll probably get severance for a year to sit back and relax.
