Either he's starting, or they signed someone named Foster and gave him the same jersey number.

He's playing the central right midfielder in a 3-4-3. Nearly just had an assist on a well-struck free kick from 45 yards out that found the back post guy but was headed over.

Bodo/Glimt score on a very nice team attacking play that came up the right side - KHF not involved. They may have done a formation change leading him to be on the left side more often than he was early on.

They're in a 5-3-2 now - think since late in the first half. KHF in the center of the midfield.

Equalizer for HamKam - Hernandez-Foster with the assist, a well-taken corner headed home by Kurucay.

HamKam concede a penalty and go down 2-1.

KHF yellow card pulling down the guy who had rounded him in the midfield - standard central midfielder yellow.

And he subs off in the 77th - double sub with fresh legs being needed and now that he was on a yellow. Nice assist, played OK - impressive that he was taking the dead balls. However, not sure he hugely stood out.

Went the distance in a 1-0 shutout win, listed as the central midfielder.

To clarify, he was just playing for reserves due to yellow card accumulation:

He's been somewhat of a breakout player for them it seems. It's just Norway, but he's still only 20, so still hold out some hope for him he can have a relevant club & maybe NT career.

The guy's very technical w/ good vision & d awareness. He's not some phenomenal athlete, but I never perceived it as a major issue like some. And look how Tolkin has improved in this department around the same age (though I think KHF is playing CM now).

I think the biggest issue was the lost development years because of his team's plan. Has stunted Cuevas as well. But there's time for both.

Agreed, he will have a nat team career, and that will be with the Honduran national team, or no one.

That's too absolutist, just like you have a problem w/ in the other direction.

It's an unlikelihood, outside January camps, but he's still got a shot at his age.

Players need to start somewhere. This is his first senior team opportunity. His prior club was Wolfsburg. You've been corrected by the intelligentsia how difficult it is to break thru w/ them, outside rare exceptions, and regardless of nationality.

I think itll be interesting to see what kind of pro career he can get going, not going to even think about national team involvement until he has way more and high level pro team involvement.

He's either able to play DM or not. He will never be able to play LB.

OK. Never say never, but until I see the kid make plays when the comp speeds up it matters little.
If you have what it takes to reach Nat heights for the US, especially over the next four years, then you better show Norway is beyond you in a year. It should be that clear. The old days are gone and hell, even in the old days guys who produced in Norway, like Mix and Robbie Russel, couldn’t handle Nat speed. Spare me the friendly heroics of Mix. He made one real good play against Mex and that was it. He couldn’t ven catch on in mid table Belgium. He got chances because we had little,

FBs are the fastest players on the field, not the slowest. I'll say never. Mix wasn't playing FB, he had a chance like LDLT has now. Small, slow LB never. Fortunately someone is playing him in the middle.
