Anna, don't look at this post. (Although the photo could just turn into a big red X...who knows?) HAPPY BIRTHDAY EMMYHUMAN! from Emmycat (translated by Soro, otherwise it would read..) aw3thtfwa FEOgrejagra/ eh82q3T.IO WAgUOHGA?lWEIO
Today's my last day of classes for a little over a week. WOO Took my final in math... And in about 45 minutes I have to go back to turn in my essay for writing... then all the way back home. Then I'ma do lots of yard work. Happy St. Patty's Day, btw.
You want to ignore me?! I do think it's lame you can't ignore premium members. I guess it's a hidden "advantage" of membership to be unignorable. Is that even a word?? I AM SO JEALOUS!!! I wish I had enough money to get up there to see Texas, too. :| Oh geez, that's even more awful. She may have gone through all of that for what turns out to be a freak one-time thing. :|
Yeah, me, too, and I haven't even had breakfast yet. So wrong. EDIT: I meant that the incident is "so wrong", not me almost losing my breakfast...although that would also be wrong.
Um, a URL would be helpful here, especially since she's still working as an on-air talent at the NBC affiliate here, 5 blocks from where I work. Paul
I don't want a beer. I want a sissy drink. Ok. I gotta go back to school now... only to come back home 5 minutes after being there. BUT, after that... I AM FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!! WOOOOOOOOO Anyone wanna come over and chat with me while I do yard work?
*flashes back to seeing Lost in Translation* *in best Bill Murray voice: "For relaxing times...make it Suntory time* Paul
HAPPY ST PATTY'S DAY YALL! guess who CAN'T drink on this wonderful holiday? *points at self* I have an f-in game tomorrow
I'm sorry to make you guys sick. The article tells quite the story, no? I would gather that she graduated from HS (from Capital) in '99 or '98. :| I read that the bulldozer that crushed her was a gift to the Israelis from the US. Her father has been quoted as saying, "My tax dollars went to pay for the bulldozer that ran over my daughter." :|
Aw, I wish you could come too since you weren't able to make it to Hec Ed for a game this year. :| I would think that the odds of her having LQTS are ridiculously low. But the school probably can't take the chance. Maybe Texas would clear her...not that she'd ever want to leave UW. After her sudden death episode, she said she wanted to stay here forever, and her dad was like, "Forever? *blink*" Oh, but she does have an uncle who died at a young age from a heart thing, so that would probably increase her odds.
An interesting email from my uncle in Melbourne... Subject: Our world in a different light OUR WORLD AS WE DO NOT KNOW IT If we could shrink the earth's population to a village of precisely 100 people, with all the existing human ratios remaining the same, it would look something like the following: There would be: 57 Asians 21 Europeans 14 from the Western Hemisphere, both north and south 8 Africans 52 would be female 48 would be male 70 would be non-white 30 would be white 70 would be non-Christian 30 would be Christian 89 would be heterosexual 11 would be homosexual 6 people would possess 59% of the entire world's wealth and all 6 would be from the United States. 80 would live in substandard housing 70 would be unable to read 50 would suffer from malnutrition 1 would be near death; 1 would be near birth 1 (yes, only 1) would have a college education 1 would own a computer When one considers our world from such a compressed perspective, the need for acceptance, understanding and education becomes glaringly apparent. The following is also something to ponder... If you woke up this morning with more health than illness...you are more blessed than the million who will not survive this week. If you have never experienced the danger of battle, the loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of torture, or the pangs of starvation...you are ahead of 500 million people in the world. If you can attend a church meeting without fear of harassment, arrest, torture, or death...you are more blessed than three billion people in the world. If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof overhead and a place to sleep...you are richer than 75% of this world. If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a dish someplace ... you are among the top 8% of the world's wealthy. If your parents are still alive and still married... you are very rare, no matter where you are from. If you can read this message, you just received a double blessing in that someone was thinking of you, and furthermore, you are more blessed than over two billion people in the world who cannot read at all. It's amazing how fortunate we are, and now and then it's good to be reminded of it, and the need to share what we have with others who have so little.
WOOO K. :| -- "Wow" to that email, hey Udub. Puts lotsa things in perspective. *thinks about how I shouldn't complain*

"It's been six months since I last played in a national team game. I could feel the adrenaline pumping. I almost hyperventilated. But after I touched the ball for the first time, all the nerves went away." -- U.S. defender Brandi Chastain showing that despite playing 178 games for the national team, professionals still get nervous before going into games, as she did for the first time since the Women's World Cup last Tuesday vs. Denmark.
