Separation of church and state...pretty self-explanatory. One of the things Bush has done, that IMO made a lot of people vote for him (and if you don't believe me, look at the number of Evangelicals who got out to vote for him this time as opposed to last time around) is to wrap himself in religion in everything he's done.

Correct...Bush is not leading the country in a good direction. I have a bit of an issue with his lying about the reason he took us to war in Iraq, his "my God is right and everyone else is wrong" attitude, his desire to limit women's rights, his making our country a police state, and his desire to discriminate against a portion of the population. Oh, and there's also that ********ed economy, tax cuts for the top 1% income earners, and jobless rate. At least with Kerry I know I get someone who fought for his country, rather then dodging it when he could've like Bush did, someone who doesn't want to limit women's right, believes in citizen's rights, and does not want to legislate hate. And last I heard, Kerry wasn't forcing his religious zealoutness on everyone.

Yeah, in my world the needless killing of people on all sides is wrong, as are discrimination and trying to make things right by wrapping it around religion. And, no, that's not abjectly saying that Kerry's opinions are automatically right if I don't like Bush's opinions. It's saying I think Bush has done a piss porr job, and it's time to give someone else a shot.

Well, no, I wasn't calling people who voted for Bush mindless sheep just because they may disagree with me. I call them that (in general) because people apparently -- according to what they have said -- voted for him on "moral grounds" (i.e., they support his anti-gay and pro-religious views), and fear. They seemingly have failed to look beyond the rhetoric, and bought into what they have been told without using their own brains. Or maybe they thought that was the only important issue of the election. I don't know.
