Sheik: What do your "amazing sources" tell you in terms of the kit release date? The reason I'm asking is because I know the answer... and I'd like to see you go on the record.

I don't JoMo to ride alongside me, nor is his presence as a Southside gang up. I'm sure it's just simple posturing to see if the much-maligned Shiek actually has credibility. I could have knowledge of events and content, but would never post it as I can't reveal my sources... that is a lot different than boasting about having knowledge of events and content but refusing to tell the community who what when where how etc. and then acting all cool once it is public knowledge saying "I knew all along..." The kits will be announced sometime in the next 5 weeks, or perhaps sooner. I am aware of the exact launch date, but cannot divulge that publicly. Worth noting: Southsiders in good standing will be eligible for a limited number of seats at the official unveiling. Join up now!
So if that is to be taken as a literal 5 weeks then on or before Tuesday June 22nd. In that case my guesses in order would be as follows: 1) Day After NCC Final Match 6/3 2) World Cup Eve 6/10 3) Any other day
Don't take it literally as 5 weeks, and don't necessarily tie it to any MLS event. It's happening sooner than later and I'll leave it at that.
Thus the if in my sentence. I did not however tie it to another MLS event, just a national and global event . Definitely looking forward to having you guys back in the same league. It just feels wrong with Vancouver missing from the Sounders schedule.

Well this has completely thrown me for a loop. I was told by credible sources it was someone totally different... weird. Oh well, I was pleasantly surprised with the logo, so I'll be glass-half-full on the impending kits.
I'd love it if the bar remained, and they place "Bell" where the team name used to be (kind of like the Chicago Fire did with Best Buy).
The blue bar is too much of a classic look for the 'Caps. However, you've got my vote using the argyle for their third jersey though.

You mean you think they will change from the blue bar because it's old, or keep it because it is classic? I have no idea myself. I NEVER considered that they would overhaul the badge the way they did, so I have no idea what they might do with the kits.
