Watched both friendlies, against Monchongladbach and 1860 Munich and Ki so far hasn't done too much but we've been pretty comfortable in both games and there's been more of an emphasis on the attack with the likes of Gomis, Eder and Emnes impressing. We're looking strong throughout the squad in pre-season, youngsters like Grimes and Fulton are impressing as are the new players - there isn't a lot of weaknesses in this side anymore.
Centre midfield primarily, but we've not seen enough of him to see how versatile he is. He's someone who usually looks to try and move forward with the ball if he can, so I wouldn't be surprised if he was capable of playing the #10 role.
Yeah, Jack Cork looks like his spot is most secure out of any of the midfield with Leon Britton set to leave. The only cover for him is likely to be Ki, youngster Jay Fulton and the makeshift option of Ashley Williams.
he'd be an absolute steal for any MLS team. i guess a lot of the Jack Army will be gutted to see him leave, be it inevitable.

Of course we'll be gutted, he's been with us for 13 years, been a key part of 3 promotions, 3 minor trophies and the League Cup. He's been so important for us, and he's been such an important part of our style of play. He'll go down as one of the very greatest players to play for the club, and there'll always be a job for him at the club. I'd love him to spend the rest of his career here, but you've got to respect his wishes and if he wants to play regular football I'd wish him all the best in the MLS. He'd be superb there, and he'd have plenty to give to a side. I'd rather him go there, where I could watch him most weeks on Sky on a Sunday night then for a rival club.
Team for Forest today should be: Fabianski, Williams, Fernandez, Naughton, Taylor, Cork, Ki, Grimes, Routledge, Ayew, Gomis
could be the relaxed nature of this scrimmage but Ki looks sharp. 1:35 pass and 2:02 shot on goal along with some other nice passes within the first 2 minute.

Well Im officially psyched. In the next 1 to 3 years, we will be seeing the very best that Ki is able to offer, and he is lucky enough to have a manager who's very familiar with him. Monk got to see the potential that Ki has playing more advanced, and I think he'll be making his real mark this upcoming season. I only wish Swans had a real sniper up top. I see Gomis being erratic and streaky. Who knows, maybe he ties into a good one and stays hot, but i don't think he's mentally strong. If only Bony was back. Id love Ki to team up with Adebayor. Sure he loves London and all but maybe Monk pulls some strings. He's on the market for loan out.
