I just wish he would be rested. I also wish that he wouldn't play against Japan later this month, why not Hong just leave him in Scotland to get along with his new team mates instead of going back and forth.

I love that he says he will be a Steven Gerrard in Scotland. You will be! I believe in you!

It's good he sets the bar high but I hope he can walk the walk.
People will always look to tear you down.

Hope he finds success at Celtic. He'll be integral to us in SA.
I wish he goes to the WC in form as opposed to struggling to find match time like Cho Won Hee.

    Best of luck.

I wouldn't say he's good looking guy but his English is impressive. I hope this becomes a great move for him.

Is this confirmed?? It's hard to be mad with Hong but this is a dumb move. Ki has nothing to prove at that level.

Getting into gear in Scotland > Beating the Japanese. As sweet as the latter may be. :D

Ki sounds a bit brash, but i think it is because something gets lost in the translation. To say superlatives about himself in comparison to Nakamura is asking for trouble.

He's skillful enough to play in any league in the world. But his poor fitness worries me. I think he'll be a flop unless he addresses this. Hopefully Celtic has a good physiologist.

Objectively speaking, Ki Sung-Yong is a good looking person from an Asian standpoint. But, I am not sure if his look can be interpreted similarity from abroad. I remember when we had a WCQ match and we faced Iran, those Iranian posters said, "Who is that weird looking baby-face guy that's raping us in the midfield?" :)

So, frasermc or other Scottish friends, how do you assess his look, out of 10 points? :D

After hanging out in WR, that was mild by comparison.
They say you don't shit where you sleep so I'm on my best behavior here. :)

Woorijim, asking another guy to judge another guys's looks is just asking for trouble. Especially by western standards.

Someone mentioned in the other thread that Ki's competition at that spot is either currently injured or will be unavailable much of January due to international duties. So we could Ki making an appearance sooner than later. :D
