Doyle to Seoul FC, in 2016. You heard it here first (and, most likely, last).

Nah look for NY Red Bulls to swoop for him about then. Of course this will only happen after he gets married to one of the **********Cat Dolls.

    You must spread some rep...

Very funny. I hope it doesn't go to his head. I'll bet they do that for every club's leading goal scorer.

The article says he's the top Reading scorer in the Prem, which is technically correct, but you're right, when you count the cup, Lita has one more goal than Doyle.

My point is the whole adoring fan thing was probably staged to promote the tournament. I would not be surprised if the star of every club in the tournament got a little over the top adoration. Since Lita wasn't there, they probably passed out pics of Doyle.

Ahhhh.... Now I got you..... :)

Why do alot of Amercians (from what I can see) support Reading? Im always the only guy in the pub with my Royals top on.... In fact if we all sat on each others laps you could fit the population of my town in Wembley stadium :D

A lot of Americans come over for the Yanks (Convey and Marcus are quite well liked) and stay for the quality of the footie, and style of the club. Reading are a classic underdog made good. Irresistable.

Small world. Well, world wide web, I guess.

For those who haven't seen it: The Official Peace Cup program cover is a photo of Doyle (running with the ball from last season). Tried to link the photo, but it's in the pay area of reading world.

I'm not positive, but I think we both have to make the final for that match to even happen.

There is the whole underdog bit, plus Coppell has the manager/coach style Americans love (somber, unresponsive but you know deep down he realy loves them... at least that what we like to think regardless of if its true or not). Personally, I like the balanced, team-style they use. That's why I wasn't heart broken to see Sidwell go. He always struck me as showing just a hint of "I'm better than all this" about him. There are other players that make solo showing but they still seem to hold with the team as well. That's something you just don't see in the big clubs. Plus, their mascot got ejected. That's simply awesome.
