Kendall Fletcher makes Melbourne debut

    Kendall Fletcher is back in the Australian W-League for the southern hemisphere summer, she played with Central Coast Mariners last season but that team has since folded. Kendall made her debut for Melbourne in a 4-1 defeat to Sydney at the weekend. Video highlights will come later but you can hear audio highlights here:

    Who is there from the WPS ?
    We're very lucky that we've got a goverment channel showing some of these games !

    Hey, that is what the WPS needs- a government channel like public broadcasting to show more of the games.

    Is it true that the players don't get paid downunder?

    There are contracts in this league but some players wouldn't get paid and the ones that do would probably only be getting compensation for the time they have to take off work to train and play.
