too bad. man i love my new FSW (though they got rid of dutch football, my favorite) but i am having to learn the EPL to get up to speed. i understand Spurs have a weak defense? how do they match up with Charlton? where are they likely to end up in the table at the end? is europe possible? sorry for all the questions.
Last night Sky Sports was reporting that Lars "something or other" a Canadian Int'l would get the start? I was puzzled to say the least. Sullivan is apparently out for at least 12 weeks with a broken thumb.
No, they said Lars would replace Sullivan. They just didn't specify that he would replacing his spot on the bench behind Keller.
You are right. The story on their Web Site says Lars Hirschfeld will replace Sullivan on the bench. Not the impression I got from the broadcast last night. http://msn.skysports.com/skysports/article/0,,3860-1062166,00.html
I know, I watched it and was a little surprised that they didn't even mention that Sullivan was on the bench behind Keller. All the news made it sound like Spurs had just lost their starting keeper.
Just looked at the lineups at soccernet and they show semi/pseudo/former/whatever YA Paul Rachubka as being Charlton's back up keeper today. Did he leave Man U, or is he on loan, or what? Anyone know?
Keller with a couple of saves "...you would probably expect him to make." Also, Charlton with two free kicks. First goes over the bar, the second goes "...a yard wide."
Friedel would have saved that too... Just kidding. Has Keller or Friedel even been scored on yet? Hope Im not cursing anyone...
keller has been scored on. we've had draws all the way up to our win at villa last week. but in the friendlies he was scored on. but most were ones he had no chance on.
