I was getting my hopes up for Deschamps, but ******** it. I'm sure this won't end well, but it's going to be ********ing fun.
I wonder what type of transfer kitty will be in place! the next few weeks are going to be a blast...looks like I'm back on the FM2008 Kick!
I'm not a Newcastle fan but being a Man United fan you get to follow them a bit, and i remember being a young boy sitting in a New Jersey sports bar watching Newcastle beat us i think 5-0. Keegan will bring success to Newcastle.
WOW...I started following Newcastle near the end of Keegan's first go-round. It was that style of play that attracted me to the squad. This could prove to be really interesting. I'm really excited! Cautious, but excited!
Cautiously optimistic. It may not be as good as last time but hopefully he can get us to the level we achieved under SBR at least.
Fuck it who cares........we may never win anything with Keegan, but at least we'll have fun not winning anything, the thing I am most tired of is the apathy!!! We should bring back Robert whilst we are at it.
I wish they would bring Nobby back. The guy played with heart and never seemed bothered when they asked him to fill in on the back line. But didn't he ask to move to be closer to his wife and kids?
To agree with what has already been said, don't know if its good for bad, but its going to be one hell of a ride. This is certainly a ballsy move for the new ownership - they either look like geniuses or idiots after this plays out, but its not conservative by any stretch. If nothing else, Ashley just got the Toon Army back on board!
Even though I didn't really want to reach back into the past and would have rather had someone like van Gaal, the more I think about this move the more excited I get about it. If nothing else this will bring the fans back on board almost to a man, and there seems to be a genuine hope about the club that I haven't seen in the relatively short time I've supported Newcastle United (I came on board shortly before SBR was sacked). I really hope it works because I missed King Kev's reign the first time around.
Given the financial situation of the league, it's would be very difficult for anyone outside of the big4 to win it regardless of whom is in charge. We played our most entertaining football with Keegan in charge. So I'm all for it. I'm used to not winning and can deal with that. I just want to enjoy watching the games. I'm looking forward to this.
Re: Keegan Poll ty, that thought never crossed my mind. i guess i was still in shock that king kev is back.
