the sightlines and the field look great...i'm assuming they are going to put alot more stuff inside the park and make it more homey (or more like a television commercial)
I really gotta say, though, that the red (darker) brick is suited to Chicago, and light colors--maybe not the exposed concrete, but certainly the touches of white Texas limestone--are suited to Dallas. If you know Texas, and you're at the stadium on a nice, sunny day, the overall impression is that the PHP is a very nice stadium for that environment.
Its great that KC has options, but why isn't there any talk of what the Wizards are going to do next year? From the article: Davidson said the earliest the complex could be built is 2008 but he believed 2009 is the more likely target date. Jackson County voters approved renovations to Arrowhead Stadium, so the Wizards probably won’t be able to play there next season. With a complex still years away, where will the team play? “We are addressing that question,” Davidson said. According to the article Arrowhead is going to be unavailable to them in 2007...so where are they going to play next year???
You'll know when we know I don't know that there are too many nice enough sized stadiums...the Wizards would have to upgrade them... we'll see. It's a nice problem to have so long as the stadium gets built.
That's a good question, and people here have thrown out a few different options, including Rockhurst and ODAC, but we really aren't sure where we'd play next season.
small. i don't think we have anything with over 4k in place right now. gonna have to be adding many bleachers somewhere.
Because it's about the fourth-most important thing to figure out? There *will* be a place to play. It's a matter of choosing from a few sites for a Naperville-type solution.
With an average attendance at Naperville, IL of 11,641 for the Fire, does the comparison stand up? Did the Fire do substantial updating of Cardinal Stadium for their use in 2001?
