So far, both teams have had good chances, SJ's have been multiple, including a corner kick just now in the 9th.

Eddie was impressive getting in Simudiveov's face, too. Set the tone!

    Robo-gollllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll!

Eddie with a nice header re-direct off a Mulrooney corner-kick in the 25th minute. 1-0.

30th minute: outside the Quakes' box, Stephen Armstrong bobbles a trap on a free kick to him, then stretches to play the ball around Barrett, takes it into the box, and scores under a diving Cannon. 1-1.

    Late first half yellows:
Quill: 39th min. for clipping Ekelund's ankle
Graz: 41st, for mouthing off to the ref

Ok, play by play can be solved now... hopefully - assuming someone can log on there who's actually watching the game.

    Go to http://www.johnmark.org/equakes/

Or you can just fire up your favorite irc client and connect to johnmark.org #quakes

By the way, let this be my official complaint about most games being on FSNet and not KICU. Not being a cable subscriber, I can actually watch the KICU games.

Agreed. And it's not like we're letting KC do this, they're setting up nice plays to miss these scoring chances...

59th min: Eddie out for Ibby.

Somebody tell me I'm overreacting but what I'm seeing now is pure crap. Maybe the heat has got to them. Robinson off now with a limp, Ibsen in.

God, this is the worst I've seen our lads play in many years. KC should be up 3 or 4 to one by this point. We look like were playing with cement in our shoes. Crap passes, poor play and a general lack of intensity. Pray for a tie.

Too bad we couldn't have just called in the Toledo Fire Hawks and let them play for us.

Well played by KC. From about 15 or 20 minutes on, they dominated the run of play. We got a few runs, but gagged long before we ever got any real chances on net. Seemed like no-one was in synch today. Noticed several times people were yelling at Graz, and he did seem to be doing his best Ronald Cerritos "hide behind opposing defenders" routine. Figures Simutenkov would get the winner after getting dumped and disrespected by Eddie early on.

Oh, well, three weeks off...get well soon, guys.

so does zak get the dubious distinction of once again allowing the game-winning goal?

How right you were...........unfortunatly it was not to be.

Poor first touch and poor passing throughout the game by every player on the field. Once again they just weren't sharp on the road. 3 weeks with out a league game will be good for the lads, they can heal a little.
