I thought he was okay. But you are right, Afshin, in fact spot on, Bayern are such a static team. Like I said in a previous thread, I reckon that if Karimi went to a team that played faster paced football, like Werder, or even *gasp* Hertha, he'd be a lot better off.
I haven't watch Herta this year (I think I saw only one game), so I take your work for it. But I have seen plenty of Bayern, Bremen, Schalke, Hannover, and Stuttgart. Diego's got Bremen covered, but I think Karimi would fit well in either Schalke or Sttutgart. He could help Hannover too, but I guess that would be too many Iranians in one Bundesliga team!
I agree with Afshin on the static Bayern. But in general, I would like to point out none of the teams in the Bundesliga fit a player like Karimi. German football is not about dribbling and holding on to the ball...it's rather pass and shoot. A player with the style of Karimi is going against these standards and style. He needs to go to La Liga, where dribbling is part of the game. It's where a player can hold on to the ball, dribble around, and ever lose it but be kept away from criticism...other similar leagues are Seria A.
Hertha BSC already has one of the best(yes I dare say it) offensive middies in Yirdiray Basturk. He'd be perfect for Hannover 96.
Last year on his contract, yes. Rumor has it that one of the two big Turkish teams will get him, and, you betcha, Bayern are sniffing around too.
Dejagah hasn't been as good lately, but we shouldn't expect too much. RM is not his optimal position IMHO, I hope that when Basturk leaves, he will move into his slot. His best performances this year have come from the AM position. Dejagah at least is the worst of my concerns, there are other more pressing matters.
If he starts, it means Hittzfeld really counts on Karimi and did'nt play him against Aix-la-Chapelle because of the champions league. If not, Karimi's carrier in Bayern is definatley over.
But the reality is not. Hittzfeld does not count on karimi unfortunately Hittzfeld counts on more on Makaay. Karimi is is not even half of Ali Daei. You know too little about football.
How dare you ?? And i won't even comment you relating Karimi's playing time to Makaay. Anyway, Karimi is history in Bayern and probably in the Bundesliga
Karimi to start this saturday against hamburg, thats of course thanks to the long list of injured players. Embarrassing one might say, but also an opportunity. source
An opportunity for him to show himself for the next buyer, which rumor has it, to be Red Bull Salzburg, if Im not mistaken.
LOL, the only way thats going to beinfit him is if Reb Bull New York check him out and acctually pull him to the States.
