Di Maria has been excellent and carried the team forward. We showed a lot of character in the first half getting back into the game. Second goal was brilliant. Next goal is crucial. If we get it I think that would be enough to win this game.

Great game of football. When we play with intensity and shorter passing game we look so much better. A shame we couldn’t get the win but I don’t think we played that bad. Created chances. The problem was defending as a team. Alex Sandro can not play in a back 3. Locatelli and Rabiot left us exposed when they both went to far forward allowing them space to counter attack. Thought we showed spirit coming from behind twice. On reflection a draw was probably the right result, and Atalanta are playing with great confidence and looking good at the moment.
