scored today for Ingolstadt in a 2-0 win over Freiburg in dfb junioren cup, scoring the winner.

glad to see him do well, since he was never Bayern material and needed the move away. Looks like his move so far has panned out for him.

last season he played 2 min for Bayern II in RL.

today he played 30 min for Ingolstadt II in a trashing 5-1 loss.

Ingolstadt II is by default in OL/5th division due to Ingolstadt 1st team getting relegated last season. It sucks because II was doing well enough last season.

I would expect Butler (and even Hawkins) to be mostly in U19 but II games here and there. And as usual they might have to play II before any real 1st team chances if ever.

seems unlikely II even get any promotion too.
1-1st team needs to get promotion
2-II needs to get promoted they are like 14 pts behind 1st place.

he needs to score more if one compares him to the past 2 1st choice CFs at Ingolstadt U19 he's very very far behind.
99-Kaya, scored 24 goals in 20 games for Ingolstadt U19 playing in U19 2nd division, top scorer that season. Following season he scored 10 goals in 18 games in RL and 1 goal in 4 in 2BL. This season he's a 1st teamer who starts a lot of their games, as they are promotion candidates.
00-Breunig (was on loan from WK U19), he scored 15 goals in 22 games in U19 Sud/Sudwest (1st division and good enough for 3rd place on scoring charts, just 3 behind 1st) and 4 goals in 3 games in RL. Did so well that Ingolstadt really wanted to get him permanently but he decided to play for his home club, both are 3rd Liga anyways. Although from June-present he was in a car accident and is currently out injured. In terms of 00 who can be deployed at CF seems like P.Herrmann (AM/CF) is doing well in OL for Ingolstadt II, tied in 2nd place in the entire league while being the youngest too.

01-Butler, 2 goals in 8 games (10 games have been played this season and he missed 2 games due to a straight red)

scored his 3rd of the season and winner for Ingolstadt U19 in a 2-0 win over Furth U19 (worst team in Sud/Sudwest).

    more accurate, goals by German-Americans.:p;)

goals by CBs like Wentzel, doesn't really matter much. Clubs don't judge CBs by the number of goals they score, it's more a bonus.

that's still not really great by Butler. Meikis has scored just as many as Butler who finally caught up with him today, while Meikis has played less minutes than Butler.

to top it all off, neither Meikis nor Butler have been anywhere near the past 2 seasons scorers. In comparison, it's more poor.

as things stand, Hawkins is closer to 1st team than Butler is.

so his goal ended up being a GK blunder by the not #1 of Hoff U19 who is currently injured.

Butler and Hawkins were 2/3 of the U19 players allowed to train with 1st team.

still think Butler is headed for II and will have to play there in future. Even Hawkins will likely have to get experience in adult football 1st.

Makes his 3rd Liga/pro debut playing 5 min.

(90 ') Three minutes lookup! And Justin #Butler has two great chances to crown his debut. Once over, once the keeper parried well. Pity!

Ingolstadt's season finale is Saturday at 8 am eastern. Ingolstadt are currently in fourth, which is good enough for the promotion playoffs this year due to Bayern Munich II's exploits. They are 3 points off of Würzburger Kickers for automatic promotion, though Ingolstadt do have the goal differential advantage. Ingolstadt also have one point leads over MSV Duisburg and Hansa Rostock and a two point lead on their final match day opponent,1860 Munich.. The German Federation will stream Ingolstadt's finale on YouTube.

already down 2-0 HT while being away team. 2BL promotion doesn't look good.

although still think Butler, Hawkins, Weiss have more chances in 3rd Liga than 2BL. Once you go to 2BL, the player X isn't ready we can't rely on him and we need reinforcement shtick start popping up.

they should also try to play a full season in 3rd Liga, get integrated over early move to 2BL.

seems confirmed for Ingolstadt II next season in OL.
Replacement is already ready: with Patrick Görtler, the Schanzer have already brought an accurate executor in the winter, for this purpose Justin Butler, Fabio Meikis and Renato Domislic are pulled up by the U19s. "We are really well occupied at the front. I hope that someone will follow in Philipp's footsteps," said Reichel.

also after Jager left for Turkgucu Munich and Weiss joined some RL club permanently. The only Americans left at Ingolstadt are Butler and Hawkins. Hawkins was always the more likely 1st teamer and no coincidence that only he has pro contract from the 2 as of now.

he started in cup match because every CF was injured/unfit. Kutschke, Kaya and Eckert were all out. Last time I saw something like that was Haji Wright and everyone at Schalke being injured.

seems like he had chances to score and coach said that Butler had to have scored those chances but less critical since no one else scored either.

wonder how long those 3 are out? More chances in XI is likely dependent on their fitness too.
