Hello to everyone here I guess I had to post, I kept getting the "We see you have yet to post, etc" I have been a soccer fan since I was a little kid, going to a couple of Cosmos games and a few NY Arrows( MISL ) when that was popular. I have followed the MetroStars for a while now. Now that I got FSW I am in heaven. I love watching the different leagues to see the different styles of play. IT really just amazes me that matches in England and Germany that the crowds are so into the game and the cheering and such and MLS games are not very well attended. Maybe someday soccer can be up there with our other sports...
Thank you for the welcome.... I have been reading past posts for a while now.....I hope I know what I am getting myself into on here, LOL .....I look forward to having a good time on here..
Welcome from another newbie. There's just a few places in the US where soccer gets good fan support, the main one is the Cascadia region with Vancouver, Portland, and especially Seattle. These are the fans who not only know what a tifo is, but they participate in them. And the Sounders to a nice job of filling up the Seahawks stadium, rent free at that thanks to the owner of the Seahawks also having some type of ownership stake in the Sounders, I can't remember exactly what that is though.
Hi! I grew up in South Florida and I remember going to see the NY Cosmos play the Ft. Lauderdale Strikers. Good times.
