Hi all, just downloaded and installed it and everything is in German (i think). How do I get it to show English.
Re: Just downloaded game - Need to change language Find the options screen (where you'd change currency, farenheit/celsius, etc.)), then change the language from the drop down to english.
Re: Just downloaded game - Need to change language Ok, found the options screen. Its set for Danish. I see English on the drop down list. Where's the [OK] button or [Accept Changes] link?
Re: Just downloaded game - Need to change language Great Job. Yes. Click on Berkfraft? That is confirm in Dansk.
Re: Just downloaded game - Need to change language Thanks Shab. That did the trick. Dutch, I think he meant AFTER I change the language.
Re: Just downloaded game - Need to change language I know. But once u change it to English you then have to click on Bergkraft.
Re: Just downloaded game - Need to change language Glad this thread was here! I had the same problem. Thanks guys!!!
Re: Just downloaded game - Need to change language The full version of the game - that would be illegal, no?
Re: Just downloaded game - Need to change language Guys, you do realise downloading the full game is illegal? Of course, not only is it wrong, but you're not showing your support to Sports Interactive the developers of the game.
Re: Just downloaded game - Need to change language Can you even but this in the States, I know previous manager games you could not..if this is still so then screw them. How else are you going to get the game without paying your ass for overseas shippment etc. If the game can be got at any EB Store or equivilant then I agree with your point. But if they choose to neglect our market then well that's their problem and they should take these actions as a messege/ wake-up call. Besides if I couldn't download the full versions of previous Champ mans i would never have known about the game and I wouldn't even be a potential customer to them. So in a way this prior "illegal" activity has increased it's customer base here.
Re: Just downloaded game - Need to change language I've bought it from overseas three times, it ain't that expensive for a good game. They put MLS in it, they can't be ignoring us that much. Heck you may have noticed last year Mark Vaughn was posting around here keeping us informed about MLS in the game, seems to me we weren't being neglected. I found out about the game in '98 after playing the demo. There's always a demo out, saying you need to illegaly download the whole thing is a weak excuse.
Re: Just downloaded game - Need to change language It's coming out in the US sometime next year, so they're not ignoring the market. I thinks its going to be called Worldwide Soccer Manager 2005, or something like that. Correct, Geordie?
Re: Just downloaded game - Need to change language Last I heard in the SI forums is a release late this month or possibly slipping into early December. I was planning to buy it retail to show some support but I'd rather avoid the Americanisms in the Worldwide product so might just go ahead and order it from a British retailer.
Re: Just downloaded game - Need to change language You can get it from GoGamer for under $50 and it'll be on your doorstep within two/three days. There is absolutely no excuse to download it illegaly nor even ordering from Europe. Plus, as someone else has already mentioned, ordering from somewhere like Gameplay doesn't exactly cost an arm and a leg and even that gets here within a week. Sparta, yeah, it's going to be called Worldwide Soccer Manager to avoid the confusion over here between 'soccer' and 'football'. Scheduled for release this month or very early next month.I just started a site dedicated to the game for those of us over here. Hopefully some of you will check it out and join in. URL in profile.
Re: Just downloaded game - Need to change language Gil V. and bigbrooklynlou, check your PM's. Thanks.
