Haven't been in these parts for a while but this news brought me back to BS. Green deciding on US Soccer is huge. Klinsman could sell saltwater to a Hawaiian. Julian Green is now trending on twitter in the US. Oh happy day! Is he going to be on the roster for WC2014?
This is amazing news! I'm going to go ahead and make the bold prediction that he'll be starting at LW against Ghana.
I've never seen him play and he's only 18. Gotta love him! But seriously, I've not been convinced by either Shea or Davis as international left mid options. I do want to see Donovan start at left mid for the US, but I like the idea of Green as Donovan's sub at LM. Let's hope the reality is as good as the idea, and the hype.
With Bayern about to clinch the Bundesliga title any minute now, hopefully Pep will give him some more first team opportunities the rest of the way.
So how long does it usually take between the time an application for a one-time switch is filed and when it is approved? How long did it take for Johannsson?
How long to get the FIFA paperwork through? Can he play v Mexico? What an exciting upgrade! Any player who has the backing and support of Bayern Munich is classes above most if not all of the USMNT player pool. Oh and BTW- Shut up Lalas!
He isn't US citizen yet so if he plays for Germany or Ethiopia before he gets it we are out of the picture
Yeah that's what I read. If he wants a USA passport he won't be playing for the gooners or something like that
http://www.soccerbyives.net/2014/03/arsenal-germany-qualifying.html According to Ives, he doesn't have the option once he plays for someone else.
Same stupid shit as usual. How this guy has a broadcasting job is mystifying to me. http://espnfc.com/blog/_/name/relegationzone/id/1732?cc=5901
