Green seems to basically have the same issue as Tim Ream. Not good enough for a top 4 league, but very good one level down.

 

Athleticism (or lack thereof) in both cases.

 

Ream is top drawer in the Championship. Green is at best average in the 2.Bundesliga.

Still got two years left of his contract, so it's unlikely he's looking for a move to MLS yet.
