Green seems to basically have the same issue as Tim Ream. Not good enough for a top 4 league, but very good one level down.

Athleticism (or lack thereof) in both cases.

Ream is top drawer in the Championship. Green is at best average in the 2.Bundesliga.

    Praise from the coach:

    https://www.ligainsider.de/julian-g...n-green-erntet-lob-von-seinem-trainer-319319/

"He made a really good game, especially in the gaps he had a lot of action, where he came out of the pressure with the first contact. Good running of the last chain and one or two final actions. Those are things he did really well in his process. You could see in training and during the international break that he's on the up and up at the moment. Today he took his chance.”

They lose all games, so it's still a positive.

If Fürth doesn't win today, Green and Tillman become the first Yanks relegated this season (I'm probably missing someone in a lower league though).

Well, they would be playing at the right level. We hope for more from many others.

Came off the bench around the 71st, but now they are down 3-1:

Kicker was right all along I guess, ranking him as a below-average 2.BuLi player. He's just slow to react, and slow to get there once he's reacted.

Oh man, the look on his face when that guy who has no idea who he is says "former" before US National team forward in presenting him.

Still got two years left of his contract, so it's unlikely he's looking for a move to MLS yet.

Waiting for Tampa Bay to get an expansion team?
